The Cottages at Nantucket Boat Basin

One of the most charming places I've ever stayed! The staff are amazing, and the location is unbeatable.

I wanted to give it a bad review so I could have it all to myself LOL!

A fun place to stay right on the boat basin. Convenient to town, shopping, dining and the Wave (bus). Parking was a bit of a problem but in the nature of the location. There is designated parking off site (about a 10-15 minute walk). Staff were very friendly and helpful - overall an excellent experience!

If you’re the kind of person who loves falling asleep to the soothing sounds of a nightclub DJ thumping away until after 1 a.m. every single night, then the Cottages at Nantucket Boat Basin might be your dream stay. For the rest of us who value even a hint of peace and quiet on vacation, it’s more like paying luxury rates for front-row seats at a late-night block party you didn’t RSVP to.

The bed itself? Surprisingly solid—let’s just say it’s well-suited for “romantic activities.” Sleeping, on the other hand, was more of a challenge unless you happen to enjoy pulsing basslines as your lullaby.

Charming location, nice staff, but unless management decides that guests might occasionally want rest as well as nightlife, I’d recommend bringing earplugs… or maybe just your best dance shoes.

Very conveniently located. Clean and pleasant interior. Great staff and housekeeping.

We stayed in the John Jay cottage on the outer corner wharf. The property is very well cared for and the staff is wonderful. My husband and I had a great time at The Cottages.

Incredible staff and amenities.

We had a wonderful stay! We were greeted by friendly staff and offered a room upgrade because there were lots of rooms open early May. It was a great time to go before the crowds!

Beautiful cottage, very rustic and private. Very comfortable beds, full kitchen. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

We stayed at the end of the rope cottage and it was absolute perfection - all of the staff was incredibly helpful and went out of there was to make our stay feel special - I would absolutely recommend for a relaxing stay on Nantucket. Also want to note that it was very kid friendly as we had brought our 6 and 9 year old children.
