Pros:

Amazing stay! The oceanview was stunning, and the food exceeded expectations. The all-inclusive package made everything easy, with great activities included. Loved the heated pool and relaxing evenings at the external bar area. Staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Dissapointing
Pros:

Scottburgh has never really recovered. It all looks tatty.
The hotel rooms have been revamped and its an attemped at resuccitation. The grounds and facilities are well kept and the food is good. A rose among the thorns. The walkway to the beach looks and feels tatty. The beachfront is tatty and worn ..
The coffee station is a disaster in the mornings..you need two of those. The all in is great idea. The hotel is noisy though.
The last night was a disaster. The staff is very noisy in the mornings and then at 2am the generators come on. These are located right at the rooms !!! Imagine the noise..
Senior management was not visible ..maybe on leave...not in the style of other dream hotels. Going back? Probably not.

Great family holiday spot. A tad expensive for what you get.
Pros:

It’s very family friendly. Kids are welcome here and not treated like an inconvenience. The team responsible for looking after kids and their activities are amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The daily activities for the kids and grown ups are a nice touch. The beach is across the road and there is a tuk tuk to take you there as well. We didn’t have a rental car and it there were no Ubers in sight but the resort has a reliable driver who came quickly to take us to the airport at a reasonable price.

Cons:

The WiFi was non existent in our room. It was fine at the restaurant and other common areas but not in our room. The drinks selection is limited. The bathrooms have windows that open to the corridors so the stink walking past some room is a bit much. The images used for the property are photoshopped for sure. There is a lot of great qualities about the place but not R4,5 pn worth.

Great family stay has potential to be better.
Pros:

I enjoyed the inclusivity of the resort. Fantastic place for kids of all ages. Great for families.

Cons:

Some staff members were lazy, it took long for the rooms to be cleaned up. Lack of variety of food, same kinds of food being prepared each day, lack of vegetables. No fruits at the buffet. Very limited time for breakfast, used lots of oil when preparing eggs. Pool staff were not helpful or friendly, didn’t take orders from guests, guests had to leave pool to get drinks. Rooms had no plugs on the bedside only plugs by the table. It is a 3 star resort.

I loved the unlimited drinks, just wish they had more cider options on the sweeter side. Loved the room and the staff were very kind and helpful especially Anele, she was very delightful.
