Motel 8

Very old and dated.
Didn't like the smell of curry when I walked in the office.
Very cluttered and of poor taste.

Convenient location safe place to park

The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating! Cannot thank her enough, as she went above and beyond!! It was exactly what we needed for our stay in Olds. Had a lovely stay at Motel 8.

Television worked first night but next day wouldn’t turn on.
Left messages on phone and in person at front office but tv still wasn’t fixed before we checked out.
Also window was quite dirty.
Breakfast was minimal.
Overall the place is okay for the price and I would probably stay here again.

Comfortable bed and very quiet. motel is old and needs upgrading.

The property had good value. The beds creaked as old bed fixtures. Air conditioner was available. Food options NON Existent, very poor selection.

It was just ok for a one night stay.

Everyone was very kind and the room was clean and neat. The room was cleaned everyday. It was a great pkace to stay.

The property was old rundown in desperate need of updates. The walkways were unkept, cans filled with cigarette butts and alcohol bottles left laying around. Outside light shining directly into the windows all night long as the curtains were not black out. It was noisy when people walked around in the room and walk way above our room. The bed was okay. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic but the tub is definitely needing to be replaced and the tiles grouting repaired. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast as the area was cramped and not welcoming

The woman that checked us in was very helpful.

I found it clean and quiet and the staff friendly. I would stay again.

Asked "booked on line" I reply yes and a key was given to me very coldly."here" was all she said. Room stuffed in corridor with flimsy key knob but dead bolt worked. I didn't feel really safe in the outside hallway area and run down look
Multiple families living in building. Won't stay again.

The pictures are not accurate!!! Not clean, towels are few & thread-bare. Parking area is cluttered with trash & dead plants.

Simple room. Simple breakfast. Good enough for a one night stay.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, room was clean, but the bathroom was very small.
Appreciated the fridge and microwave!

Place needs updated.getting to it is not really easy.

Booked this for a freind to stay at while we had business in town together, she requested a cheaper hotel to fit her budget. Reviews weren't bad for this one so I chose it and that was a mistake.
She informed me the next morning the facility was really dirty and she felt unsafe in the room.
Door didn't lock properly and in order to get to her room the part of the hotel she had to walk through was dirty and had broken glass around it. She said the room was so dirty she removed the top sheets from the bed and slept in her cloths. Then the "breakfast included" wasn't out when she left at 7:00am and when she asked the lady at the front desk the receptionist went into a back room and offered her a questionable looking muffin. Dont know how it had the reviews that it did but I will personally not be staying there agian.
