The Winnfield Lodge

Bad odor coming from the Ac unit and the bath tub water was nasty, I think there was a lot of iron in it

The water was cold so therefore the staff couldn't do anything about it but other than that it was straight

Nice place. Enjoyed our visit at the winnfield Lodge.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant, The Embers, has good food and is very convenient. The staff was very friendly.

The staff and the food at the attached restaurant were great. On the sad side, internet not working 90% of my 5 day stay, door was difficult to open and a lot of trash on the property.

Tub was coming apart (literally) & the toilet was right up against the wall (literally). Parking area was dark, with some seedy looking people. Pool was slimy green. Restaurant was not that good & way overpriced. However, everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. Not too bad for the price

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Bed was really comfortable and the place was nicer than expected. The restaurant was pretty good too.

Not handicap capable, towels were not clean, it was close to our destination

Just needed a place to stay while working in Calvin, LA

All the people that work were go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are well maintained however, the chairs in my room were in need of replacement. Despite that, I would recommend this hotel if traveling in and around Winnfield, LA.

Everyone and everything was Excellent or Nothing. IT WAS EXCELLENT AND AWESOME

My reservation was messed up. The hotel did not show me as being registered even when I gave them the confirmation number!! The clerk stated they always have problems with Expedia when hotel reservations are made. You might want to look into that. It is not a good feeling to travel long distance to a place, arrived at almost midnight and then be told that you do not have a reservation.

Room was very quiet, clean and comfy. The staff were really nice, restaurant was good and convenient. The pool was dirty and I think leaking, but it was a good stay.

This hotel was a great location for where I needed to be. The people are friendly! The restaurant was really good and friendly workers. However, several things that were not good for the hotel stay. 1) The door wasn't sealed good. At a angle you can see outside and someone could see inside if they were a "peeping tom". 2) At about 11:30 pm there were a gathering of about 15-20 people in the parking lot and screaming and shouting. There were kids screaming and running up and down the stairs, at one point I thought there was a fight but one never happened (thank God!). It lasted for about an hour then got quiet. But about 30 minutes later there they go again with the kids running up and down the 2nd floor balcony and screaming. I would MAYBE stay there again.

Everything was very nice and wonderful .... I enjoyed my stay and will be back in the future

Hotel was okay but seemed a little overpriced for the area.

This was an ok hotel but seemed a little overpriced. The pool was not usable as the water was green and had not been maintained. So much for getting to enjoy relaxing in the pool!!
