We had a meal on the day we arrived - it was excellent
There was nothing we didn't like. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable.
Staff attentive. Place was professionally run. Location was almost ideal for our purposes.
We had two criticisms
1) The smoke alarm flashed every few second all night. Could it not be inhibited - or if not, flash at a much lower frequency.
2) Roller blinds at the window offer no privacy. You need to install slatted blinds (vertical or horizontal).

Room was very warm, no air con, no fan. There was a hidden £30! charge for a dog which is not mentioned at all on booking or their own website. Breakfast does not come with the room that’s extra. I thought for £121 per night for one person for just a room was a lot then to ask for £30 extra for a dog to come to my room was incredible I’ve always expected an extra charge for a dog but never has it been £30 for a room that cost £121. The window in my room was broken.

Nothing really.The location was quite a way out of town but obviously that's not the Hotel Hotel's fault !!
Rooms were very clean. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order.
The room we were in faced the very busy main road. As the weather was warm we had to sleep with the window open and the noise meant that we didn’t get much sleep.

No aircon and no fans in the room. In a heatwave that's just not good enough. And the breakfast was exceptionally disappointing. Took ages to come and was pretty much inedible when it did. I was asked how it was, I told them...I got a 'sorry about that' Er, how about 'here's the £13.50 we just took off you...'
