Great hotel, great food in restaurant. Would definitely recommend.
Pros:

I stayed here as I had a couple of jobs in the area and having stayed here before I knew what to expect. The staff are very friendly. Food in the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros:

It was very clean, modern and well presented. I had a comfortable stay. Would definitely go back.

Cons:

The property is fine and pretty close to all shops and city. There wasn’t much to dislike about the property. Transport is needed to visit all tourist sites or shops but the cleanliness, comfort and the price for the room overrules this.

Pleasant friendly hotel
Pros:

Nice hotel in a great location, convenient for a visit to Durham. Regular bus into the city centre

Cons:

Bed wasn’t comfortable, neighbouring room guests were loud. Service in the restaurant was extremely slow. Overall fair though, may give it another try

It was adequate for the purpose of our stay but improved considerably by the staff
Pros:

Closeness to wedding venue we had come to attend. Ground floor room. Helpfulness and friendliness of staff

Cons:

Restaurant closes too early in the evening and menu is rather limited. We had to pay extra for breakfast. Layout of bathroom a bit cramped / awkward and toilet seat was loose so kept slipping when you sat on it

Stayed there 3 weekends in a row food was always a let down
Pros:

Beds were confortable and room was nice and clean

Cons:

Food was absolutely disgusting and not as advertised for a very expensive price also breakfast was disgraceful as I ordered sausages mushrooms and tomatoes they sent me out 1 sausage half cooked a half a mushroom and half a tomatoe
