Hotel is beautiful, location great but price is very high and customer service seems to be secondary
Pros:

Location and Hotel beautiful and very clean.

Cons:

Queen size bed advertised was the size of a full bed and small and the check-in process was very poor. The check-in process took over 20 minutes with 2 different staff members and the manager on site seemed more interested in talking with other tour group vendors than assisting the issues the new staff members were having. I also asked for an extra pillow to be taken to my room and after a staff member said they would go get one for me to place in the room they were gone in excess of 10 minutes and another staff member had to go get me the pillow since the first staff member was MIA.

Not a pleasant experience
Pros:

Although we called a day ahead of our arrival to secure a shuttle from the train station, none came and we were left in the pouring rain to wait ½ hour for the free city shuttle. We called the hotel and no one answered. When we did arrive at the hotel, there was no one st the desk.The room was clean but there were collections of dirt caught in dust in the corners in the tiny bathroom. We were only offered a small bar of soap in the shower. At our final walk through to check for misplaced belongings, we found a nice pair of shoes behind the curtains near the corner that werent ours! We opted not to pay $20 for the breakfast buffet that was usual fare included at hotels charging half the price per night. The young man at the desk was busy on his phone when we had questions. We stayed at the Edgewater in 2015 and had a much different experience. It may have been near the end of the season, but we felt as though we were overlooked.

Great location in town. Breakfast is listed with hotel amenities, however, it's not included in the rate. The breakfast buffet in the lobby is an additional cost of $20/pp.

The best location in all of Seward, clean, comfortable bed
Pros:

It’s the perfect location with great views. The best restaurants are very close. The woman who works at the front desk is exceptional, down to earth, friendly, professional. Easy, free parking on the street. Two washers and dryers in great condition - $4 each and the dryer actually dries in less than the 45 minutes set time.

Cons:

The rooms are small. The bathroom is tiny with no real counter space around sink. Housekeeping is a bit slow but at least they have it daily and it’s fine well once they show up.
