Pros:

Great location and parking. Staff was great and provided lots of recommendations. We stayed in the Stephenson private house which was very spacious.

Convenient to everything in town
Pros:

Very convenient to walk to everything in town, free garaged parking was a plus, staff was friendly and room was spacious and clean

Cons:

There were no screens on the windows and it was a warm weekend so when we opened windows to cool the room, bugs flew in. Not too many but it was strange there weren’t screens.

Charme e conforto de carmel
Pros:

Localização excelente!! Da para conhecer o centro de carmel tudo a pé. O quarto é bem espaçoso e agradável. O estacionamento na porta do quarto é bem conveniente também. Chegamos a noite, após o horário da recepção, mas eles foram super organizados, deixando indicações claras e fáceis de como nos alojar sozinhos.

Cons:

Acústica muito ruim e quartos muito próximos, acordamos com barulho de conversar de hóspedes vizinhos. Chuveiro também é muito baixo, para quem é alto acaba ficando bem desconfortável

Hotel charmoso no coração de Carmel

O hotel é um charme muito bem localizado, no coração de Carmel. Perto de todos os restaurantes e lojas. O quarto era bastante confortável e tinha 2 camas, perfeito para família de 3 pessoas.

Great location, old rooms...in need of a spruce up!

I have been staying here for over 20 years...sometimes with my dog, sometimes alone. It is in a very good location for walking to town and enjoying restaurants, theater and shopping. Pretty far away from beach access to be honest, unless you are young and strong!

Cons:

Although the property is in dire need of a re-do, everything is acceptable, bed etc. The furniture is directly from 1960s, old pine desks and old chairs. WHAT I REALLY object to....is that the front desk person "Tiffany" seems to get her power from being behind the desk. The manager, Michael, was a nice low key guy...I did mention to him (after being in hospitality for years---) that he should FIRE her as she is NOT front desk material. She is snippy, negative and just rude to the people who come to be on vacation and have a hospitable place to stay. Rude Rude Rude...please see their Yelp reviews for substantiation! The owners need to pay attention to their property and the front office. As I say, the manager, Michael was nice to deal with...but all in all, I would elevate the pay and get better, nicer folks at the front desk! THEY represent the property!
