Relaxing holiday in a lovely hotel.
Pros:

The one bedroom upstairs apartment overlooked the lagoon which meant we had the sun on the balcony from early afternoon. The bed was huge and comfortable, the apartment had everything you could wish for. We had 2 balconies and a large bathroom, bedroom and living area. The gym was great, well equipped and well laid out. 2 pools were really good, towels were provided as required and there was always sunbeds around the pools, they were never busy. There was entertainment on at the bar area 2 or 3 nights per week. The staff on reception were really helpful and friendly, as were the grounds/maintenance staff and also the cleaners. There were lots of places to eat nearby, most of them good value.

Cons:

We had breakfast there on the first day, but didn't do that again. For the price, selection was limited and the food wasn't great. There are some good places nearby. Also we ate at the bar area a few times in the evening. The food was fine, but some of the servers weren't too customer friendly. The beach on the East side was difficult to get to near the Marriot Hotel as the hotel didn't allow you to walk through their grounds to get to it. They said it was a private beach, but it isn't. Regardless, swimming on that side is not advisable. The other beach at Frigate Bay was okay, it was sandy but getting in and out of the sea wasn't easy due to a steep slope and stones everywhere. Once in the sea, it was fine.

Emergency exit. The laundry. Comfortable room

Cons:

The location of the room. The sliding door mechanism was broken but maintenance did a make shift. Need more laundry& garbage baskets for room.

Brilliant stay lovely staff especially the front desk staff , was able to leave cases in a safe place after checkout

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar :-(
Pros:

De locatie, het complex, ruime opzet

Cons:

De bediening bij het ontbijt is traag. Vaak ook ronduit onvriendelijk, dit geldt zowel voor personeel ontbijt als bij de receptie. Je krijgt sterk de indruk dat gasten eerder als last dan als welkom worden gezien. Als werken met gasten je zichtbaar tegenstaat, is de horeca misschien niet de juiste plek. Daarbij duurt het echt lang voordat je wat krijgt bij ontbijt: ongeveer een uur na bestellen. Bestel ook zeker geen granola met yoghurt: dat is een plastic drinkbeker met klein beetje granola, wat yoghurt en jam. Dat kan toch beter voor die prijs?

Daarnaast zijn de kamers duidelijk wat afgeleefd. De kamer die wij oorspronkelijk hadden geboekt zou een king-size bed hebben, maar bleek een smal tweepersoonsbed (twijfelaar) te hebben. Dan maar een upgrade geboekt tegen toch behoorlijk bedrag. Het is een hotel, maar niet iedere dag room service; om de twee dagen. Bijzonder voor de betaalde prijs.

Alles bij elkaar: geen hotel dat ik zou aanbevelen.
