Very good restaurant/lounge choices

Loved this location! After a day exploring the Hood River Fruit Loop, this was a nice spot to spend the night. Beautifully situated on the Columbia River with their pool and restaurant looking out over the river. Views were amazing and the staff was excellent. We enjoyed walking along the river as well.

It was in a beautiful location! The rooms were very nice, beds were comfortable, and the restaurant and bar were great!

The resort was beautiful! It was located in the perfect spot by the river. We were able to easily drive to Washington and wineries in Oregon. It had all the accommodations of a perfect visit. Nice pool area, outside seating by the River, comfortable bed and room. The restaurant food was five star. I had the seasonal salmon over mixed vegetables. We also ate breakfast - excellent choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend a balcony room facing the river. Quite a beautiful way to wake up or end the day.

We are staying at the Best Western right now, and pretty disappointed with our experience so far. Booked a river view executive room to try and escape the freeway noise, but we are right at the end of the hotel still next to the freeway. Incredibly loud.

Also, the AC situation is a joke. Have the equivalent of a window AC in our 3rd floor room, and it doesn't cool much. Followed the instructions on the unit and it runs for 2 minutes and shuts off. Nice and cool in the hallways, but room is a sauna. And between the temp outside and the road noise can't open the balcony to cool it off. I hope the forecast is right, ot I am not sleeping for 3 nights.

Restaurant and front desk staff have been pleasant. And our view is phenomenal. But it can't fix the physical plant issues.

Great location with beautiful surroundings right on the river. While there aren’t many dining options nearby, the riverside bar and restaurant offered excellent food. The atmosphere was lively during our stay, with several wedding parties taking place, but the staff handled the busy environment seamlessly and provided outstanding service throughout.

This hotel is right off the highway in a perfect location to explore the Columbia River Gorge, the fruit loop, and Mt Hood. The front of the hotel faces the parking lot and the back faces the river. There is a walking path along the river that takes you to the marina.

The hotel restaurant has gorgeous views of the river and you can sit inside or outside. There is also a guest laundry on site that is very convenient.

only stayed 1 night and wish we'd stayed longer as didn't make use of the pool or had chance to explore Hood River more. we had a king room with balcony overlooking the river and enjoyed watching the bridge traffic as well as the views across the river. it was more expensive but felt it was worth it. the hotel feels very new and modern and we had a large room which was very clean and comfortable. it had no safe but was otherwise well equipped with coffee maker, fridge etc. the bar and restaurant seemed very popular on the evening although we walked into town for something to eat (a good trail runs from the hotel along the waterfront and into downtown). Parking was free and although a little out of town, the location worked well for us - using the trail as mentioned above. it is right next to a gas station, and fast foods options too.
we got a voucher to use in the restaurant rather than an included breakfast - we decided to use it on breakfast and we were very impressed with the choice, service and quality of food we had. Yes - the voucher didn't cover the full cost but it was definitely a step up from the 'included breakfasts' at many chain hotels.
Would definitely recommend when in the area and if you can, do upgrade to a balcony room overlooking the river.

This facility is top notch. We attended a conference and honestly the food was really good. The service was amazing. The staff super friendly. Beautiful view of the Columbia Gorge. Nice walking path behind the hotel. Starbucks in walking distance. Pool area looked nice. Get a riverfront room - it's worth the extra cost.

We booked a river-view room with a balcony through the website, but upon arrival we were initially assigned a room with only a partial view through a window. Naturally, we were disappointed.

However, the staff handled the situation exceptionally well. They listened to our concerns and quickly moved us to a much better room that exceeded our expectations. We truly appreciated their willingness to make things right, and it completely changed our experience.

The service went above and beyond throughout our stay. When one of us had a minor scrape, the staff even provided bandages, which was incredibly thoughtful and convenient.

We also appreciated the modern in-room amenities. Unlike many hotels that still only offer USB-A ports, this property included USB-C charging ports, making it much easier to charge newer devices.

While the initial room assignment was frustrating, the outstanding customer service, thoughtful touches, and updated amenities turned our stay into a very positive experience.
