Expectations not met
Pros:

I liked the location & the gardens which were spectacular.

Cons:

Cleanliness of common areas in hotel was very good.
I am still waiting for a response from management after I reported (verbally & in writing) hygiene & cleanliness issues of the bed linen.

Also, breakfast selection did not vary from one morning to another, which was reported at the hotel.

Pros:

The room was lovely, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was really good, plenty of choice. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Plenty of free parking.

Brilliant.
Pros:

We had our wedding reception there in 1975 when we mentioned this we were given a suite and a bottle of bubbly which was a lovely gesture and not expected. The staff were very friendly. At breakfast there was a separate area with gluten free cereal, bread, grains and a toaster.
