Great location for a trip to Mackinaw Island!
Pros:

The location was right on lake Huron and a short walk to the ferry for Mackinaw Island. The room was spotless and spacious with both a microwave and fridge. The breakfast was more than just baked goods. It included eggs and meat, yogurts, fruit, etc.

The staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful. Always had a smile. I felt so at home. It was such a wonderful stay. Very clean, location beautiful. This will be our vacation spot next year for sure.

The location was very pretty and close to where we needed.

Cons:

The room had no closet or place to hang clothes. The room was also very dark. Needed more corner lighting.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, nice amenities. Would stay here again!
Pros:

Gorgeous views! Loved the hot breakfasts and bonfire each night with smores. Front desk staff were great - even called a shuttle for us to catch the ferry to mackinaw.

Cons:

Wish it were advertised that there was a bug infestation in the evenings/nights outside near the water. They didn’t bite but rather just a pest. However, we booked a balcony and paid more for and couldn’t enjoy it because of that. Still the views were incredible so we didn’t complain.

Wonderful hotel
Pros:

Perfect location to catch Shelpler's ferry. Walking distance or they offer a shuttle. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Right on the lake. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pillows too soft for me like all hotels. Staff was very helpful and so nice!
