We left a day early
Pros:

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent. Pool and hot tub were nice.

Cons:

Beds were uncomfortable. Had to get new keys every day. People were very loud in halls.

Great place to stay in Superior Wis. and it is close to the historic Anchor bar.
Pros:

Loved the breakfast

Cons:

The only problem was the bathub did not drain properly. But that was the only problem.

Stay was fine, but not worth $240.
Pros:

Great location off the Hwy. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Cons:

Tv did not work. Staff was great about offering us a cheaper rate, but couldn’t do it because we booked through booking.com. Hours later they called and we were already in bed and offered to move us. We were already unpacked and settled in for the night so we declined moving. When we got up to shower, we found a dirty towel and wash cloth in the hanging within the shower curtain.

Decent hotel
Pros:

The staff were friendly and the hotel was overall very clean. The breakfast was pretty good with good options.

Cons:

Our room had a fridge that didn't get very cold, a microwave with a broken turntable, and the bathroom toilet paper holder was very loose

Great pool area. The breakfast was a huge selection and all tasty. So many waffle toppings! And the needs were all very comfy.

The bed was comfortable, ice machine worked good.

Cons:

The cooling unit was pointless, the room started at 74, put the unit to cool to 64, never got below 72. Which is a big deal for a hot sleeper.

Awesome pool
Pros:

POOL AREA GETS 10/10.
Hot tub? Yes, please.
7 ft deep? Sweet!
It is highly chlorinated so make sure you bring your kids goggles.

Bonus points: easily accessible laundry area.

Room was a perfect size for our group.
Breakfast was solid, standard DIY wafflemaker and buffet options. Loved the Big Ships, Lake Superior history; the concierge shop in the boat is super cute.

Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

This is an older building, there was some obvious wear-and-tear on parts of the hotel. This did not affect our stay.

Did not enjoy the manager's assumption that we were there for a "pool party" and "you might as well leave now because the cops will be here in 30 min"

That said, I am glad they shut down the pool party quick because my kids were ready to swim. I do understand both the desire to host a party here, and the manager's need to keep unregistered guests out of the pool.

Great stay, great staff, great experience over all.
Pros:

The staff were SO kind and accommodating. Our room was comfortable. This was during grandmas weekend so it was more expensive than normal rates. We had a great stay and would stay again!
