It was OK, just needs some adjustments and updates.
Pros:

It was close to colliseum. AC was quite. Room was large enough. Breakfast was OK.

Cons:

Ice machine was not working. Very inconvenient. Parking on fence side was terrible when workers are parking their big trucks there. We were not able to get out one day. Extremely dangerous if you have a fire or need an ambulance, you could not have access to rooms. Sheets didn't fit king size bed well, kept coming off.
Water was set too hot in bathrooms and had trouble adjusting it cooler.

We would not hesitate to stay at the Best Western in Snyder, Texas again!
Pros:

Our stay at this hotel was all around great, from accommodations to location. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We have no complaints about our stay. It was very enjoyable.

Affordable, with friendly staff

Cons:

Older, rather weathered and slightly rough exterior and grounds. Not very attractive, just looked dated and long-in-the-tooth.

Cons:

No elevator, had to carry bags up two flights of stairs. Cigarette buts all over. Walked around the top porch, did not feel completely safe and secure.

The conditions provided were entirely misrepresented and far below the advertised standards.

Upon arrival, the hotel entrance was locked, and there was no staff available at the front desk. I was forced to follow a handwritten sign instructing me to call a number and wait for someone to arrive. Eventually, a receptionist appeared in pajamas, which was highly unprofessional and concerning.

Once in the room, the conditions were simply unacceptable:

The odor of nicotine was overwhelmingly strong to the point of making it impossible to sleep or remain comfortably in the room.

The room was in an unsanitary state: the walls, headboards, and window curtains were stained with red splashes, which was extremely disturbing.

Surfaces such as the microwave door, nightstands, and doors were greasy and sticky to the touch, indicating a lack of proper cleaning.

The shampoo and shower gel dispensers were completely empty, which contradicts the promised amenities.

The shower tub walls were covered with hairs, further evidence of a lack of hygiene.


These conditions made it impossible to enjoy my stay, and I had legitimate concerns for my health and safety. This experience clearly did not align with what was advertised or expected from a professionally operated hotel.
