I don’t often leave a review and I hate to leave a 10 out of 10 review but this property deserves it. It is a real gem in a small town in south Louisiana. Staff were very friendly and helpful room was quite comfortable. Parking was easy which was important because I was pulling a boat trailer. The hotel has an adjacent restaurant which was closed on Sunday sadly but was open for lunch on Monday. Never had a better Poboy. Definitely on my list for a revisit when I am in the area.

Pros:

The staff was exceptionally kind and patient with me while I was being both picky (wanted to change my room because the air conditioner was noisy) and when I was just stupid (locked myself out of my room...). In both cases she was immediately helpful and cheerful - no questions asked. So nice to have service like this nowadays.

Stay was excellent! Check in was a breeze. Room was more than I expected , full size fridge and extremely clean and quiet. Pool was open all night and it was very nice !

Pros:

I was booked for a room with 2 queen size beds but I know the beds I had where not Queen size. Maybe double. Food was awesome in the restaurant though. Shower could have been better.

Southern hospitality at its finest!
Pros:

Gretchen and her staff were amazing. We were a large group and they handled everything from the room block to check-out without a hitch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I love having a full kitchen in the room. Having breakfast included in my stay is a big plus. BTW, the breakfast was amazing!

Room was a non smoking room, but had the smell of smoke in it. Beds were outdated and not very comfortable. Booked room for three people, yet only had two towels.
