Muito mofo nos quartos térreos.
Pros:

Funcionários prestativos.

Cons:

Não pudemos ficar no hotel por conta do mofo nos quartos. Mas os funcionários foram prestativos e nos realocaram no hotel mais novo.

Pros:

View of the running track and the proximity to my work. The room was warm and peaceful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff all very friendly.

Cons:

The shower tray was rather rusty and the mixer for the shower didn't work well. Sporadically it split into jets of very hot water and jets of cold. Not good. I reported this to reception.

Pros:

Convenient location on campus, comfortable mattress, and all essentials provided

Cons:

The price is quite high, and the shower tray is not always consistently clean and free from blockage (six out of eight times the drain was blocked)

Okay
Pros:

The room was clean and quiet with tea and coffee making facilities. Purely functional for one night.

Cons:

The parking was in the main university hotel across a road, so I had to carry my stuff to the room across a busy road. The location felt quite isolated from the main campus hotel, which was buzzing. This location had no onsite reception or security staff. The key system was old fashioned and you had the same key for front and room door and you had to lock the room door manually. The shower tray was stained and melted in places and the bathrooms felt a bit tired and dated.

Pros:

Location, ambience

Cons:

While booking I was not told that the reception desk will be in Edgbaston Park hotel and breakfast will be served there. I came to know only after booking. That should have been mentioned earlier.

Perfectly pleasant
Pros:

The bed was comfortable; the room was clean; there was a wardrobe and an iron and ironing board were in the room already. There were extra cushions to hand too. I'd paid for breakfast at the main hotel and it was very good indeed with very friendly staff. (Plenty of vegetarian options and smoked salmon too.)

Cons:

Peter Scott House is a little way down the road from the main hotel and there aren't many places to eat in the evening in the immediate vicinity (I walked to Harborne which is an easy 20ish minutes.). A microwave available to guests would be really welcome. Also, the double bed is two beds tied together. (The last time I stayed they weren't tied together so it was more comfortable this time as I didn't slip between them during the night.) The step into the shower really is quite high, as other reviews have said, and the water from both shower and loo drain slowly.
