We were happy with the hotel
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the location was good for us. The bed was very comfortable

Cons:

The toilet was very low for older people like us. Also stepping in and out of a tub to take a shower is not ideal for seniors.

Historic hotel. Great value. Comfy beds, AMAZING BREAKFAST. (The locals come here like a diner)
Pros:

Breakfast made to order. Cinnamon roll was otherworldly good! Walls are thick, couldn’t hear any neighbors. Two types of beds to pick from in a double queen room. Standard box spring bouncy or firmer memory foam.

One night on the way from KC to Milwaukee. Halfway point
Pros:

I love old hotels and this fit the bill. Comfortable - very basic- but the restaurant & bar were handy & a real value. All the staff were helpful & friendly

Cons:

blankets - always need more blankets.
The bathroom was really really small and we are not small people :)

Pros:

It was an ok stay but very upset I did not get my deposit back because the room was just the way it was when I checked in except for dirty towels n bed wasn't made

Cons:

Did not receive my deposit back and when I asked if they take cash she said not really they don't like that

This is a quaint and beautiful hotel. The cafe on the first floor is fantastic!
