Hotel Boutique La Toscana

Costs a accommodated a last minute reservation and provided onsite parking. No elevator to our 2nd floor but room was very clean. Avoid Main Street side due to car noise.

The hotel is located in an excellent place. It is close both to the bus and the subway station. Even though the breakfast is not buffet it is huge and full of choices including fruit, cereal, bread, cookies, coffee and tea. By far the best thing the hotel has is the staff. The rooms are clean, and boutique style. They gave me and my wife the choice for a silent room or a noisy one with better view and they also contacted us to a tourist guide that we hire for a tour through Valparaiso. If I go again to Vina del mar most likely I will stay in this same hotel.

DO NOT STAY in this hotel. The room maids stole my friends jewlery and did not accept their responsability. We had the police coming to the hotel to check the maids and the hotel. Finally they hidded somewhere in the house so that the police could not find anything in their belongings. Also, the police found some other issues like iligal alcohol being sold in the hotel. We put the claim in the police and in the tourism office so that the hotel gets closed. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Muy buena experiencia en el hotel, todos muy amables y preocupados. Nos ayudaron y guiaron como turistas dándonos indicaciones para llegar a ciertos lugares e incluso nos facilitaron una tarjeta para movilizarnos en metro. La señal wifi no era buena, nunca logré conectarme a ella, fuera de esto nada malo que comentar.

Hice una reserva y al momento de llegar no encontró la reserva, me hizo esperar en la calle. Pesimo servicio. Tuve que ir a otro hotel.

We ultimately made reservations at another hotel and ended our stay two days / nights because we were so displeased with La Toscana, and felt that the pictures on hotels.com's website were not accurate representations of the quality or condition of the hotel.

Fue buena la experiencia, el hotel es bueno, es una casa bonita pero decorada con un gusto discutible, bien atendido y muy amables todos. Algunos detalles, en el lobby funciona una televisión y que pedí que la apagaran en la noche, y la prendieron muy temprano en la mañana por lo que me desperté.
El desayuno muy rico y muy bien servido. Faltan perchas en el baño para colgar las toallas y algo para poner el jabón en la ducha. Pero la pieza excelente y cómoda y amplia

O bairro é bastante movimentado e o barulho atrapalha um pouco o hotel, porém ele é bastante confortável e os funcionários são super atenciosos.

Had a great 3 nights stay here. Very friendly staff, excellent wifi, good location, great breakfast and very clean and comfortable. Can totally recommend it, the only not so great thing was the noisy road next to the hotel.
