Pros:

The location was amazing on the river. Staff members were very nice and accommodating. Just a 10 minute walk downtown. Highly recommend.

Je recommande. Avons loué 2 nuits de plus.
Pros:

Très bien situé à la pointe du historic district de Luang Prabang.
Personnel toujours disponible et à l’écoute. Déjeuner à l’extérieur au croisement du Mékong et de la rivière Nam Kham.
En prime: le lit a une télécommande qui soulève la tête ou le pied de lit ou les 2 !!

View over Mekong from the 2nd floor room
Competent staff

Cons:

All rooms face the Mekong with a road in front of the Hotel. The road sees a never-ending flow of traffic from 5.30 to 20.00h. Mainly transport vehicles for Chinese tourists but also motorcyclists with fast and noisy bikes. Balconies at ground floor levels are unsanitary due to diesel fumes. Daytime noise is BAD.
The breakfast place is on the opposite side of the road. It is strictly outdoors and in the January fog quite inadequate for guests as well for staff. Offer is limited and not adequate for the high prize of the Hotel

Fumes from taxis with engines left on when parked
Smelly toilet

Loved the breakfast spot - will definitely come back

The staff are very nice - especially Chivi at reception was very friendly and helpful

Cons:

It’s getting old and some of the wooden floorboards need replacing and the floors creak when you walk on it- the bathroom was too small but in some ways it was unique
