Great breakfast, great swimming pool.
The hot tub was out of service for some repair. They didn't give us any credit for that missing amenity.
Hot tub was not working.
Once we finally got into a non-pet friendly room it was great the room we were in the first time was disgusting stinky and the blinds were broke
Very nice stuff
The walk to the beach was nice and the new restaurant in the parking lot was amazing!
Our room smelled like pee. It wasn’t ready until 4:45pm. And there were pee towels left out on the balcony.
I liked that it was very family inclusive. It had bikes for you to ride and had the pool had a bunch of board games off the side. I liked how it had the volleyball, the outdoor fire pit, the horseshoe, all the outdoor barbecues.
The the bed was uncomfortable
Close to the ocean & balcony
Could be cleaner
Great location, quiet and comfortable
Outdated, screen door kept coming off rack, click needed to be replaced and TV was mounted crooked
Front desk folks the cookie s
The pool ,sauna hot tub
$3 coke machine
It was quiet and had a great view. We loved the outdoor space with the BBQ and firepit.
The toaster didn't work great. It took a couple times to toast my English muffin. I think they should invest in multiple ones or an industrial one for all the quests trying to use it.
The condo accommodation was great. It was just two of us, so two beds were not slept in.
Good and bad - there were construction workers replacing the decks outside each room, a little distracting because we like the curtain and window open. The workers, however, were very polite and worked around our deck quietly and quickly. They liked by dog too.
The shower rod fell off the wall in the walk-in shower and did not adjust to fit snug on the wall, we left it down. Luckily there was another bath with shower.
Didn't to eat any. Too late
Weekend maybe a little later for breakfast
The view was great from the balcony. Newly renovated condo and great amenities.
They could use a better flow for the breakfast rush. Maybe reconfigure the setup. Definitely need more than 1 toaster!

If you are thinking about booking a stay at the Chautauqua Resort, do yourself a favor and keep looking. Don't be fooled—this hotel is complete smoke and mirrors. As you pull into the property, the main sign is probably the nicest thing about the entire place. It is all downhill from there.
### The Check-In Nightmare
We arrived a little early around 1:00 PM for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Knowing standard check-in wasn't until later, we politely checked with the front desk to see if our room happened to be ready. An older lady bluntly told us no, because they were fully booked for the holiday. Fair enough. We went and explored the beach, checked back around 3:00 PM, and were told it still wasn't ready. Since official check-in wasn't for another hour, we were fine with that and decided to head into town.
By 5:00 PM, we picked up dinner and headed back to the resort, eager to just get settled into our room and eat with our two-year-old. When I walked into the lobby, there was a long line and a new girl working the desk. I actually overheard a couple in front of me saying their room wasn't ready yet, and I jokingly said to my husband, "Watch, our room won't be ready either."
Sure enough, when it was my turn, the girl casually said, "Sorry, your room's not ready yet," and just stood there staring at me like there was absolutely nothing she could do about it.
### Zero Urgency and Total Lack of Professionalism
This is the first time in my life I have ever stayed anywhere where a room wasn't ready long after check-in time. I explained to her that we had a literal two-year-old and hot dinner going cold in our hands, and asked if there were any other room options. She pulled a young man out from the back, who checked the system and said no. Instead of getting on the walkie-talkie to demand, "Hey, we need room 135 cleaned immediately," he meekly asked the cleaning crew for an ETA.
The place is quiet and it feels like exclusive and safe.
