Will be back again soon
Pros:

Good free included breakfast, with lots of decent food options even GF options. Pool, hotub and the sauna were amazing . They were the only place that accepted pets and that was really convenient but the pet fee was a bit much..

Cons:

The amount of the pet fee, also they didn’t have anything in the room to clean sand off the floors and they didn’t offer room service to stay over unless requested

An overnight stay was too short
Pros:

We arrived the Saturday before Easter and were warmly greeted by Annie wearing bunny ears. It was only 1pm and check-in wasn’t until 4pm -but she checked her computer and our room was already clean. She said we could go right up but first gave us a tour of the facilities. This included pool, jacuzzi and sauna as well as bicycles you can borrow for free. A safe and beautiful pedestrian/bike path goes all the way down 5 miles to Cape Disappointment State Park where you can see pelicans dive into the sea looking for fish. It looks like the hotel made a recent attempt to remodel but a few amenities look a little tired. But that won’t keep us from staying there again!

Great Easter weekend
Pros:

Great family adventure stay. We came over Easter weekend and they did an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Pool was awesome. Breakfast was good for kids. We will definitely come back!

Awesome time!
Pros:

The stay was so relaxing and enjoyable. Thr view from our room was incredible! The resort had so many things available for us - beach toys, pickleball paddles, beach blanket, etc. It made staying here so enjoyable. The breakfast was good and all the staff was very helpful and kind. We hope we will be able to stay again.

Pros:

The location and view was absolutely beautiful.

Cons:

The bed were super hard and the bathroom had mold in it. The room was poorly cleaned as there was a layer of dust in the night stand and had food stains on the wall. Also was stressful to have to remember to not open the bathroom door after taking a shower as if you do it can set the fire alarm off.

Peacefull, stress free, home away from home
Pros:

This place was AMAZING! we were more then comfortable! We took a last minute trip to Long Beach and ended up here & I’m thankful we did ! free breakfast in the morning with your stay & they did have a good selection. different types of juice, coffee, milk, hot coco. They had flavored yogurts, cheese omelets, sausage links, even biscuits and gravy!
They have a pool, sauna and hot tub that they do restrict access to kids at a certain time of night and allow adults only to be in there until 10:00pm which I thought was nice! Overall this place was awesome, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you Chautauqua!

Overpriced and Outdated
Pros:

This used to be a great place to stay, however, time does not stand still and a lack of updates and maintenance have left this hotel a shadow of its former self.

Nothing about our stay was great. The bed was worse than sleeping on the floor. It left us with back pain for days after returning home. The hot tub was one of the cheap backyard variety, and was not clean. Breakfast was underwhelming, and fewer choices than a standard continental breakfast. They ran out of everything, including coffee.

The absolute worst part of our stay was the fire alarm going off multiple times in the middle of the night. Not a beep, or chirp, a full blown hotel wide raging alarm. These were triggered by people taking showers and the steam sets off the entire system. I think we lost ten years from our lives from the shock of being woken up that way multiple times a night.

In summary; this hotel is outdated, in poor repair, and way overpriced. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Eh, not my favorite place to stay on the peninsula

Bad experience over charged, bait and switch..
Pros:

The check in staff was really rude and disrespectful. I was charged more then what it said I would pay on bookings.com and I had to stay or loose my money.. that was a total scam It said 130.00 total with tax and everything, I had to pay 189.00, I felt like this was a result of a bait and switch and was not ok at all . I will never stay there again, I will also recommend that no family members or friends stay there either.
