Pros:

Me encantó, muy señorial y agradable.
Fernando, en la recepción fue extremadamente amable y acogedor. El desayuno es muy correcto y la zona es tranquila pero a un paso del centro.

Top Lage
Pros:

Top Lage, grosses Zimmer, bequeme Betten, Tee, Kaffee, Kekse werden jeden Tag wieder aufgefüllt

Cons:

Für sehr Lärmempfindliche evt. suboptimal, am Wochenende abends kann es mal etwas lauter sein von der Strasse resp. der gegenüber liegenden Oxford Union.

Zeer goed.
Pros:

Mooie rustige kamer, comfortabel bed. Uitgebreid ontbijt van prima kwaliteit. Super vriendelijk personeelslid, die me hielp mijn (verkeerd geboekte) treinreis te annuleren.

Cons:

De prijs van het ontbijt? Dacht dat het inbegrepen was. Maar was zeer goed ontbijt.

Excellent, I would stay again!
Pros:

Very comfy bed, all very clean. Amazing location. Loved our little extra room in the superior double. Excellent staff. Even had robes and slippers.

Cons:

Very difficult to change shower temperature. Bit noisy outside in the street but was Saturday night in central Oxford. Housekeeping seemed to be stomping around from about 7am, being an old building it was a bit noisy.

Avoid unless you enjoy building works adjacent
Pros:

Location was the only appealing feature

Cons:

Hotel did not advise that there is major building works directly next door where a church is being renovated. Excessive drilling and banging could be heard from my room. Raised this with them within minutes and they did offer me another room which was directly below the one I was in, I declined as I could not believe that the noise disturbance would have improved. Bed in room was extremely uncomfortable with deep divots across the mattress, given also the bed was sloped due to the uneven floor not much sleep was had, concluding with a very painful back the next day. When I raised this at 8am at checkout I suggested they changed the mattress it was greeted with a very nonchalant disinterest.

Overall for the £139 paid this was a very poor experience.
