Beautiful location and amazing staff, but I expected more from the room itself.
Pros:

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted us with booking the balloon trip and were always attentive and kind. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of local cheeses, nuts, Turkish coffee — everything was delicious. The location and views are probably the best you can get.

Cons:

I expected more from the room itself. I’m not sure if the hotel was fully booked, but it really felt like we were given the worst room available. It was literally like staying in a cave — small rocks and dust were falling from the ceiling and walls. The bathroom also had a very unpleasant smell, similar to sewage pipes.

Spectacular location overlooking Pigeon Valley
Pros:

The standout feature of this property is the location: on the edge of Uchisar, overlooking Pigeon Valley. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and the breakfast delicious!

Cons:

The rooms are a little tired, and those with mobility issues should know that getting to the rooms requires navigating uneven terrain. Some rooms are on different levels, with for example stairs between the bedroom and bathroom.

Good hotel with no ac which wasn’t expected but one room got too hot to be in past sunrise. Did give free water though so that was a plus and it was right near the cave dwelings

Cons:

1. Location is very bad. Stay in Goreme if you can.

2. Hotel was very unhelpful. I messaged to ask about airport pickup before going there, no response. Considering how remote and difficult to get to the hotel, how late my flight was (10pm), I didn’t feel welcomed at all.

3. Some staff were rude. When I asked the receptionist Sevda for some urgent help, she listened to my problem then said she needs to go finish her food first. Lol. Very bad attitude and didn’t want to help us at all.

4. Room didn’t match the pictures. Toilet was downstairs and it smells due to bad ventilation.

Pros:

Stunning hotel with impeccable accommodations and incredible lookouts all around. The best views in my opinion of all the hotels in town because you can see into pigeon valley and also look back at the town including Uchisar castle. Sumptuous breakfast on a lovely terrace. Oh and did I mention the lookout terrace from which you can see the balloons launching in the morning?
