Clean, comfortable, right off the snowmobile trail
Pros:

The hotel is right off the snowmobile trail. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast area is quite small, so get there early to get a seat

Highly recommended if you're snowmobiling in the Keweenaw!

My wife and I took a snowmobiling trip and stayed at the AmericInn of Calumet, and it was absolutely perfect! We booked a suite with a hot tub, and after a long day riding the trails, it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind.

From check-in to check-out, the staff was beyond amazing — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. You can truly tell they care about their guests.

One of the best parts was how easy it was to access the snowmobile trail right from the hotel. It made our trip so convenient. Also, plenty of room to park your trailer. The location is also great — close to restaurants and everything we needed.

And the free hot breakfast in the morning was the perfect way to start another day of riding!

We will definitely be back and highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to the area!

Look for another hotel and skip this one. For the money you can find better. We paid over $250 per night.
Pros:

Location, comfy bed and pillows.

Cons:

The hotel was in poor disrepair. For the money paid, it was a disappointment. The towel rack was coming away from the wall on one side. The towel scratchy, The whirlpool in the pool area, the jets weren’t working.

Christmas snow and lodging
Pros:

Heated indoor pool area. I didn’t use. Business trip wasn’t prepared.
The strawberry preserves on top waffles was a nice touch.
