Very attentive staff
Room was unacceptably hot
Location was perfect not stayed there before nice part of Bath
We stayed for 3 nights - The room was basic and is in need of attention- the bathroom needs some tidying up - the patio door was temperamental- the shower was only hot or only freezing cold - the room did get cleaned but no fresh towels were replaced by the taken ones and had difficulty getting new ones .
Lovely room. Very big and worth for a good stay.
The location
Although the booking.com details lists air conditioning as an amenity there was NONE! The room shown to us was hot as hell with one fan limply attempting to stir the hot air around. We insisted on another room, which was finally shown to us on the lower ground floor. It was ok and I’d guess cheaper than the initial booked room but no refund was offered (though a drink at the bar and breakfast was offered). We insisted that a second fan be provided and that, plus the lower ground floor location, meant it was a bearable temperature. However, for the price charged, there was much that was disappointing - absolutely basic amenities in the room (no shower cap, make up pads, etc), no luggage rack, no complimentary bottles of water (in that heat!!), no shaving mirror. And the stair carpet was filthy.
Excellent location in the city centre but quiet. Large room.
Some rooms (traditional) are in a neighbouring building and can become very very hot in the summer. While we understand the weather is unusually warm for the UK and aware that the rooms had no AC, the windows cannot be opened more than a couple of inches, and the fan and air cooler provided did not work properly. These could be fixed to improve the overall guest experience. Look carefully at the room facilities as those in the main building do have AC.
Location was very good, the staff were excellent and the facilities were as expected for this level of hotel
The room we were in was tired, needed some work and had some damage to the wall. The TV had a mind of its own in terms of channel and sound changing for no reason.
The hot water actually stopped running, both in the shower and wash basin at times and on the morning we were checking out was so slow it was barely usable and very inconvenient.
Location
There was no air con and the room was sooo hot. On arrival there was no one to check us in. Didn't find staff overy friendly or helpful.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was efficient due to staff members being considerate to guests. Location was great and within walking distance of where I needed to be.
Odd layout of the hotel meant I had to check-in in one building and then walk over and stay in another about 6 doors down. A very hot evening and the room had no air-conditioning, merely a fan and the cold water supply to the room seemed to fail so mid-shower, nothing but hot water available in 28+ degrees heat. Not what you would expect for the price point and brand of hotel chains.
Great location. Breakfast also very nice.
It was expensive.
We werden bediend bij het ontbijt, en we konden kiezen wat we wilden krijgen uit een keuzemenu
De kamer was ruim en gezellig
Ik miste een wcborstel bij het toilet
