I recommend it.
Pros:

It was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were especially kind and had lovely smiles. Breakfast was delicious too.

The facilities are a bit old.

Safe place and warm staff
Pros:

Nice, clean and well-located hotel. All the staff was very kind and helpful during our stay. Its excellent location allowed us to find several restaurants open despite the low season.

Relaxing hotel right on the beach
Pros:

Amazing views from the room and loved the beanbag area. Nice pool which was a good alternative to swimming in the rough seas (early monsoon season). Excellent food from the restaurant. Parking was easy in an empty lot across the road. Location was walking distance to see the sea turtles.

Worst experience
Pros:

Worst experience in Sri Lanka.. Made a big mistake in booking in such hotel.. Size of the room is so small..

Cons:

Everything is so old.. fridge is rusted from inside.. Not recommend to anyone.. Lady on the reception is cheating by taking higher exchange rate then the rates provided by ATM..

Zentrale Lage direkt am Strand
Pros:

Lage direkt am Strand ist ein Plus, wobei man jedoch aufgrund der starken Gezeiten nicht immer ins Wasser kann. Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, welches geräumig war. Zimmer zur Straße sind kleiner. Personal war sehr freundlich. Zentral gelegen zum Hauptstrand.

Pros:

Great location - you can can walk everywhere or get a short tuk tuk. Very friendly staff, stunning views of the sea and value for money.

The linen and towels smelled very quickly after one use.
