Please note the property consists of 2 buildings; Walton Hall on the island and Waterton Park Hotel on the main land, directly opposite the old hall. Accommodations can be allocated to either of the buildings, subject to availability at the time of booking. Rooms in Walton Hall cannot be guaranteed.
Children can only use the swimming pool if accompanied by an adult.
Baby cots must be booked directly with the hotel and are subject to availability. Any surcharges will be added to the booking when confirmed with the hotel.

Pool and gym were good. Staff were helpful and friendly
Breakfast was awful. Plastic found in them, hashbrowns were soggy. Sausages were soggy. All tasted like they’d been steamed, which is a shame because the dinner the night before was fairly good.
Loved the setting.....the spa was one of the best we have been too ..

Location and grounds lovely.
Our rooms windows were blocked up so we couldn’t see out. The room overlooked the roof which was dirty so understand why the hotel has done this. Not nice to be in a room where you can’t look outside.
The room needs a good clean. Radiators were filled with years of dust. Cleanliness is only being done at very surface level. No deep clean has been done for a long time - that is very clear.
Restaurant was over priced for quality of food particularly the dinner offering.
Breakfast was very good
The room was well equiped and clean, the bed was very comfortable, The staff are friendly and helpful, Good breakfast.
Food and drinks very expensive. no soap dispencers near the bath. Swimming pool should be free for guests.

Very nice for a romantic get away

Beautiful hotel, very clean and very comfortable. Large spacious rooms. All staff were really friendly and approachable
The location was great for my needs. Close to family. The hotel was lovely and well furnished in the main areas. Food in the restaurant was very good.
There was a constant humming noise in the room. I woke up at 4am and couldn’t get back to sleep because of it. It could have been the ground source heat pump that was outside my window. Not sure as I hunted around the room. There was a very strange shower door over the bath which made it difficult to have a bath as I had to hold it back as it kept popping out across the bath. I think it was set up to only use the shower.
The location and the mix of old and new with the two buildings, both were very welcoming.

Towelled slippers as they got wet/damp after being in the pool/hot tub, and it was a cold evening, but still appreciated them being provided.
Cubicles would have been preferable to an open changing area, but it wasn't busy so not a problem.
Being told upon booking into the spa, or information on the website about needing a pound for the lockers would have been helpful.

Outstanding location,
The buffet breakfast, had i known would not have included in price, im not happy with the food left out, Will go elsewhere for a proper cooked breakfast ,
The grounds were nice and staff were accommodating.
The hotel is falling apart. Room had no hot water in the morning
The staff were outstanding and could not help me enough. I was upgraded to a bigger room, and it was breathtaking. Breakfast was amazing
