Please note the property consists of 2 buildings; Walton Hall on the island and Waterton Park Hotel on the main land, directly opposite the old hall. Accommodations can be allocated to either of the buildings, subject to availability at the time of booking. Rooms in Walton Hall cannot be guaranteed.
Children can only use the swimming pool if accompanied by an adult.
Baby cots must be booked directly with the hotel and are subject to availability. Any surcharges will be added to the booking when confirmed with the hotel.

Good location and car parking
Well trained staff
Poor quality bedroom with threadbare carpet
The breakfast was just adequate with only cheap sliced bread ( no working toaster ) no pastry selection or fresh fruit selection
No hot water machine for tea making ( only a thermos flask of water ) Luke warm coffee from a coffee jug
The property was situated in a nice area with the part of the hotel on its own little island which was stunning to look at
Upon check in we were allocated room 35, when we tried to enter there was a couple already in the room, we where then given a different room, the room was quite spacious, the bed was uncomfortable, the heating was on full blast & couldn’t be turned off due to a damage dial which had broken off, which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. We ate in the restaurant & the food wasn’t great. We were charged for a Pepsi which we didn’t recieve.

Staff are amazing especially Sophie on reception she goes up and above to ensure that your stay is comfortable and welcoming. Stunning location. Plenty of parking. Our dog was welco.ed and staff where amazing with him.Nice to visit a hotel that made us all feel welcome including Bailey. We will be back.
These are just recommendations as our stay was really good. The 4 poster bed post is right in the centre of the TV screen rather annoying. Guests outside at 3am still making a noise. Furniture in the room needs replacing as old and mirror very unsafe.Rooms would benefit from some updating.
every thing .the staff all of them were wonderful friendly and kind ,the breakfast had plenty of choice ,very good quality food ,the dinning room was lovely ,the whote was clean easy to get around ,the swimming pool was really nice but you can only use it for 2 hours in morning if not in your pacage other wise its 25 pounds for the spa and hot tub ,lovely lake around the hotel we sataed in main bit not the island ,but we had room 54 with four poster bed lovely big bathroom was so nice ,every thing was so easy to do heating straight forward ,the only hotel the toaster does it in one go ,shower fast and easy ,we had 2 days and was wonderful .easy to park and quite at night xx
the only thing we wish we could walk around the lake and you cant as their is a golf course next door

The staff are very helpful 🙂 the surrounding area is beautiful and a perfect spot. Loved the hot tub as it gives you a perfect view of the wildlife. Loved it.
The lemon cheesecake was delicious.
It's looking very tired in areas. I feel it could be a goldmine if everything was updated as the amenities are great.
I had the chicken breast and have to say for the price I was expecting more. The chicken was overcooked. The ju was flavourless, and the carrot could have been cooked crispier. Very disappointed.
