Booked here as we were coming down for an overnight stay for Abba Voyage and thought the location was ideal, being close to DLR and Jubilee Lines and roughly a 15 minute walk to the Abba Arena. We arrived a bit early, but asked if we could store our luggage, whilst we went for something to eat and a wander round the shops. We were pleasantly surprised to be told that a room was available for us early, which was really good and very helpful. Rooms are decent enough and with the Rituals toiletries in the room and restrooms, this was a nice touch. We used the bar in the afternoon for a drink and then again later in the evening, after the show, when we also ordered one of the pizzas, which was nice.
As the concert was so good, we would consider returning a second time and would happily stay here again.
Just back from a short stay here. Location is great...5/6 minute walk from Stratford station. Could not fault anything in the hotel.....very pleasant gent checked us in, room was compact but bed very comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary bottled water are also provided. Really nice modern bathroom with Rituals toiletries, walk-in shower and good quality towels replaced daily. When I asked to open room window it was done immediately and left open for duration of our stay. Breakfast really good...hot & cold selection along with plenty gluten free options....all explained by very helpful staff. Have to say that all staff we met were extremely friendly and pleasant...big asset for any hotel! Would certainly return and recommend especially if travelling for ABBA Voyage as we were....15 minute walk from the hotel
Stayed a night in this great hotel in Stratford mainly due to its proximity for ABBA voyage ( about a 15 min walk). Arrived early Sunday afternoon and a very attentive gent booked us into our room and gave us an upgrade to the ‘King William’ suite ( room 3 on the first floor).
Great little room with everything you’d expect. TV, kettle and brew kit, free Wi-Fi, iron and ironing board etc. Room was clean with a large, comfy bed. Being picky, the en-suite was a bit tight. However saying that it was perfectly except-able for our needs.
In the morning we had also paid for breakfast. Again one of the staff took the time to explain what was available. Good to note they also gave a gluten free choice ( my daughters are gluten free). Lots of hot and cold choices to choose from so was in my element!
All in all, a great hotel to stay for ABBA. Would recommend to anyone to give it a go as its was a great price as well ( I booked direct).
We stayed for one night for the ABBA experience. We were given the accessible room which was basic but clean & well presented. Staff were wonderful, friendly, polite & always willing to help. We had a pizza in the evening which was very good. All in all it’s what we expected for a one night stay, my reason for only scoring 4/5 is due to the grubby carpet in the room & not being able to open the window.
From the minute that we checked in to reception to the minute that we checked out, we were treated so well. The staff were so friendly during our 4 day stay and the breakfast was superb. Do not be put off by it's location from central London. The Docklands Light Railway is a 5 minute walk and after 1 stop on that , you use the underground which takes about 20 mins to Waterloo.
We arrived on Thursday evening to attend the Abbaesque Experience nearby. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff at reception. We received a free upgrade to a suite, which was a lovely spacious and beautifully furnished room.
Later that evening friends of ours, staying in a different hotel, arrived. One of whom had destroyed his outfit in a puddle on route, the reception staff at the Westbridge took the clothes, washed and dried them and returned them 40 mins later. Exceptional service with a smile.
Couldn’t recommend this highly enough, wonderful value for money with exceptional service from really good people.
Hotel was good value for money. Room was small but comfortable and looked like it had had some renovation work done on it recently. Staff were very friendly.
Had a pizza for dinner there which was tasty. Unfortunately didn’t have time to have breakfast in the morning though. Handy for public transport.
Would stay here again.
We had lovely stay at the hotel. We were on the top floor with a balcony which was a shame as the weather was very wet. Room was small but clean although wardrobe and drawer space was minimal.Carpet and furniture could do with upgrading but we did sleep well.
The buffet breakfast was first class with many options to choose from. This included cold meats and cheeses to a full English. Highly recommended.
The man on reception when we arrived was helpful and pleasant . We were both dripping wet from a recent downpour. The hotel recommended a nearby restaurant called Zuzu’s and as we were staying at Westbridge we got 15% off our total bill when we dined there. We went to the ABBA voyage and the hotel organised a taxi for us which was only £7 and the hotel was close enough for us to walk back after the performance.
We used the lounge area a couple of times and the drinks in the hotel were very reasonable.
All in all a good stay with pleasant staff and I would definitely go back again.
We booked this hotel last minute for 1 night and we were not disappointed!
It was great value for money and we would definitely return.
We were greeted by Ronald on reception who was friendly and helpful.
Our room was spacious and very clean. Nice bed, modern decor and very comfortable.
The hotel is located a few minute walk from the tube.
There are also 3 local restaurants that you can get 15% off the bill for staying at this hotel.
Great hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast
Definitely recommend especially if your going to abba voyage, you can walk to it in around 15 mins
Excellent service, extremely friendly staff who went out of their way to help when my friend couldn’t access her phone. Great accommodation.
We had a fantastic time at this hotel the staff were amazing recommend to anyone nothing was to much trouble very clean and delicious breakfast
Excellent hotel. Room very modern and clean. Facilities wonderful and an extremely good breakfast. The staff could not have been more polite and helpful. I will definitely go back there. We stayed there as we were going to the ABBA arena, which is very close and walkable.
Ideal spot for the Abba Voyage. A 10 minute walk to the venue and a 10 minute walk the other way to Stratfod Tube.. This hotel has everything you need for a short stop over. Rooms are spotless. Breakfast has everything you need and very good quality. Staff are pleasant and helpful. I can't fault this for the money. Dont go spending lots on the bigger hotels near by. This place caters for all your needs. I would fully recomend the Westbridge.
Arrived at this hotel and wasn't expecting it to be this lovely. They upgraded us free off charge to a suit. This was a lovely touch as we hadn't even got our room key yet. The room was lovely. There was a sitting room that looked very inviting. I would say the staff are exceptional asking us our plans and couldn't do enough for us. Although they serve pizza only they handed us a 15% off voucher for many high street restaurants which we used. We got back home after the casino very late and brought a night cap bottle of wine and a meat feast pizza which was heavy on the toppings. Again nothing to dislike and I would recommend and go back. Thank you for a lovely stay
We have just spent over a week at this delightful hotel on the High Street in Stratford. We have stayed here before as our daughter lives close by and it’s the perfect place to use as a base in London. It’s only a short walk to the huge Westfield shopping complex with all sorts of train and bus transportation in the vicinity. Stratford is a real hub so you can go anywhere from there; in fact we arrived on an 18 hour flight from Australia and caught the Elizabeth line all the way from Heathrow to Stratford, then rolled our suitcases to the hotel door.
Our room (Room 1 on the first floor – Junior Suite) was spacious, clean and filled with light even on a dull London day. It was always spotless after every clean with fresh fluffy towels and lovely bedding. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Special thanks to Akib and Diana who always made sure I got my omelette cooked to perfection each morning. You guys are great!
All the staff were wonderful – it’s what makes this charming hotel – the people. Nothing was too much trouble. I had an injury to my leg and the guys on reception couldn’t have been more helpful to ensure I had everything I needed – ice and a mat to stretch out on. Thank you all for being so wonderful and I’m sorry if I’ve forgotten anybody’s names, but particular appreciation to Roland, Radu, Azizul and others whose names I can’t remember.
We have already booked our return visit in May and highly recommend this lovely hotel.
Fabsolulety fabulous experience, the hotel was immaculate and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Perfect location for Abba Voyage.
This is a nice little hotel, rooms are compact but comfortable with modern decoration. The bathrooms are stocked with nice Rituals products and soft towels, the shower was nice with great water pressure. Check in was nice and easy and the staff we met during our stay were nice and helpful.
Location is great and only a 5 min walk to Westfield or Straftord train station.
My only criticism would be that the pizza isnt great, it gave us the impression of a store brought frozen pizza just cooked up on site which is a shame, that said there are loads of local options for food, we were just shattered and went for the easy option.
Overall highly recommend this hotel and will most likely use again in the future if I need accommodation innthe Stratford area.
Great location for all the things you need to see in the area. Lovely rooms and brilliant breakfast. Clean, fresh and inviting accommodation. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, they never stopped at breakfast, making sure there was plenty of food and all the residents were looked after.
The only negative was our room, 106. Ground level, right next to a road, and also the main door into the corridor. Got woken at 4ish with a street sweeper doing laps outside our window, apart from that it was a lovely stat.
This was a little gem of a find hotel. An unassuming hotel from the outside. Inside the hotel is well maintained and cared for. The reception, public areas and our rooms were clean there an attention to detail throughout. Being an old town house the bathrooms have been added and fitted into the space available and are therefore pretty tiny, but spotlessly clean. By far the biggest selling point of this hotel is the friendly helpful staff.
