I would recommend the Fireside Motel to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of the Oregon coast!
Pros:

Fantastic location, the views can’t be beat. The staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean. Everything about our stay was terrific!

Pros:

We loved our view of the ocean. The free hot chocolate in the lobby/gift shop was very welcome on the rainy day we had. We hardly ever heard any noise. The room was big and the bed was comfortable.
We really enjoyed the walks on the 804 trail, which went right by the hotel.

Cons:

There was a strong unpleasant smell when we opened the door to the room, and I found dog hair on the couch. We got used to the smell, but the cleaners should be more thorough with the vacuuming of the couch.
The power went out the day it rained, so we left and drove to Newport for the day.

Amazing views, rocks to explore, great gift shop too!
Pros:

Amazing location right on the ocean. The views were outstanding and right on the 804 Trail with incredible rocks you can walk on and explore.

ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND PEASEFUL AREAS THAT WE HAVE EVER VISITED
Pros:

WE BOOKED A ROOM WITH A VIEW WHICH WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THE ROOM HAS A LARGE PICTURE WINDOW THE OVERLOOK THE OCEAN WHICH IS ABOUT 30 FEET AWAY AND THE VIEW IS MAGNIFICENT. THE TOWN IS A VERY SHORT DRIVE WITH REALLY GOOD RESTAURANTS. WE VERY MUCH RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND THE YACHATS AREA.

Comfortable room with a gorgeous view
Pros:

Beautiful location with a nice sized room and comfortable beds. Our family has been coming here periodically for 40 years, and they maintain the property well and staff are always friendly. The view is hard to beat.
