Check-in on Sundays must take place before 18.00.

The pub is open from 11:00 until 23:00 Monday to Saturday and until 21:00 on Sunday.

The reception and bar are unoccupied. However, the property have a night porter service on call throughout this period to respond swiftly to any emergencies. All details of this are in the Guest Information Pack in each room.

Please note, the property do not have a elevator in the building and there are 2 or 3 flights of stairs to climb. However, staff are always available to help carry bags.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Lovely hotel, clean, comfy, great staff and food was good too. I would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

The room was clean, comfortable and stylish and the bathroom was amazing. A small fridge with a couple of bottles inside was a nice touch and having somewhere to eat downstairs was really handy. Staff were so helpful and friendly especially when I first arrived, it really made me feel welcome.

Cons:

My only criticism was that I was on the third floor and with so many stairs it was a real trek for me, but I was aware of this when I booked the room. But it wasn't too much of an issue and it wouldn't stop me coming again.

Great room and location, we felt very welcome. Perfect.
Pros:

Great hospitality. We arrived early but still were able to check in. We even got a drink in the pub on arrival. Thank you!
Water and snacks provided in the room.
We ate in the pub in the evening and had a beautiful meal. There was also a 10% discount on the food. The location was ideal with direct connection by tube to both Paddington and Liverpool Street stations and within walking distance of several Museums and sights to visit.

Cons:

No lift and steep stairs but that wasn't an issue for us.

Excellent location within easy access for most places and ideal for my purposes that day/evening. The staff were so helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room was spacious with iron, ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries and aircon - which was much appreciated as it was a very hot day/evening! The bed itself was so comfortable with cosy bedding and pillows meaning I slept well. The only thing to mention is that there was no breakfast, but there are numerous other locations in a short distance to get breakfast. Would definitely return.

I love this neighborhood, enjoyed staying above a super-nice pub, better than many hotels!

Location, very quiet, comfy bed, big bathroom, mixed feelings about walking up 3 steep flights of stairs,
very nice pub below, convenient to tube station

No view (hence the quiet), tiny room (fine for 1 person), no breakfast (but options nearby), steep stairs are not for everyone

Großes komfortables gemütliches Zimmer

Das Zimmer oberhalb des Pubs war wirklich gross und geräumig - vor allem für Londoner Verhältnisse -, mit großem Badezimmer, und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. "Cozy" beschreibt es wirklich gut! Es gab Kaffeemaschine und Teekocher und eine reiche Auswahl an Kaffee, Tees und Keksen. Obwohl der Pub gut besucht war, hat man nicht viel gehört. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden gleich mit einem Willkommensgetränk begrüßt. Das Bett war bequem, und das Badezimmer hatte modernsten Standard, obwohl es ein bisschen "auf alt" gestylt war (wie der ganze Raum). Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt und würden sofort wieder dort übernachten.

Cons:

Für uns war es kein Problem, aber es gab keinen Aufzug im Haus. Bis zur nächsten U-Bahn-Station waren es 10 min zu laufen, aber ein Bus hielt unmittelbar vorm Haus. Es wurde kein Frühstück angeboten (das wussten wir aber), dafür gab es ein sehr nettes Cafe mit All-day-Breakfast direkt gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite.
