This is one of the best, Best Western Motels we have stayed at. If you are in the area we would recommend staying here.
We had pretty much given up staying at this brand because of quality, this one however is a keeper.
The mineral pool and the proximity of the park and our room was a suite.
Dog friendly!
There were no good reading lamps and in general the rooms were a bit dark.
Free breakfast was marginal with only a few healthy options
Everything was fine except for one thing- air con.
The bedroom's air con broke and it was boiling. There was no room change available but the staff did manage to find a fan which helped.
What a wonderful location inside the state park right by the river with birds singing everywhere. Unfortunately inside is a very different story ... it's summer - the pool is closed and is absolutely filthy ....the a/c is a temporary portable unit venting thru the window ...the ice machine is broken and not working ...our room wasn't serviced today . What was once a wonderful building has been allowed to slowly decay ..our room ( 102) has dated furniture ..a carpet that hasn't been properly cleaned ...the bathroom has been recently updated but sinks don't drain properly. At breakfast nearly everything comes out of packaging ..cold water comes from a hot drink dispenser ( and wasn't cold ) ...this could be an absolute gem but owners need to invest into the guest experience.
They only book through a third party that makes you buy insurance even if you book in a 24 hour period. Price is overpriced for the hotel itself. Older historic hotel, quaint. They have a hot springs hot tub on the property.
This little 1917 hotel is right in Hot Springs State Park. Two stories of rooms wrap around a little pool and hot spa, with rocking chairs on the balconies and porches. We had a comfortable but rather dim sitting room and a spacious, bright bedroom and updated bathroom. The bed was a bit old and not every outlet worked, so I took off a star, but the desk and housekeeping staff were delightful and I would definitely recommend a stop. Reserve in advance because they fill up.
It was in the park, and the location quite enchanting.
The bathroom was a bit difficult to maneuver when trying to close the door.
Hot tub was great.
Not having my room clean at least once while I was there. I stayed for 5days.
I liked the historical component of the hotel (Plaza Hotel), the location, the staff.
The condition of the room. I left notes for staff about what needed fixing. (Bed, phone)
We have stayed here multiple times. Excellent breakfast, better quality than most hotels and actual ceramic plates should you wish to use them. Wonderful vintage hotel with its own hot pool and a 3 minute walk to the large Hot Springs Park pools. Staff are very accommodating and pleasant people. They bake cookies for the guests - where else do you find that?
Nothing to complain about.
The king suite with fireplace was a great way to spend Valentines Day with my girlfriend! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
The mineral hot tub, rooms were nice
but to much noise from other rooms was like they were in the room with you. Price was high 271 for just 2 nights, the breakfast was adequate but good was not always enough they ran out of bacon and was going to be 20 minutes before anymore was it this was at 745 am
The staff was very nice.
There were a lot of things missing in our room that we had to go to the front desk to get. None of the appliances were plugged in. We stayed in a suite. There were no linens for the pull out bed, no batteries in the remote, and only 2 towels when there were 4 of us staying.
Only stay for 4 hours lol
The frost desk took damn near 40 mins to check me in
Good for hotel buffet. The woman working the breakfast was wonderful.
Ran out of corn flakes
