I would look elsewhere. Musty smells everywhere. . Motel not hotel.
Pros:

Find a different hotel. This hotel is so beat up and old. I hate leaving bad reviews bc the staff was very nice but we just couldn’t stay here again. (Especially not for the price). It’s actually more like a motel.

There are 2 buildings; we stayed in the building without the pool/check in.
I took a ton of pictures- so people can see. There is no elevator, fyi.
The bathroom is tiny. The sofa bed so uncomfortable. The bed u couldn’t even walk around; there wasn’t enough space.

The exercise room is tiny. The treadmill doesn’t work. Vacuuming the hallway? Never. It’s gross. Plus the musty smell.

I just don’t understand the trip advisor reviews. They are all good but this place does not reflect the reviews!! Warning.

I’m sorry; they were very friendly but I would try somewhere else..

We will not stay at this facility in the future.
Pros:

The staff was nice in waiving the fee for early check-in. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

There was a musty smell in the room, the lighting in the bathroom (and whole room) was horrible and the mirror was dirty, the curtains should have been better with being blackout due to the room facing the gas station and the extremely bright parking lot light. Did not like the idea of being in a separate building from the main dining area especially since it rained the entire time (did not want to have to walk in the rain to get breakfast).

It was good for what we needed. The pool was awesome.
Pros:

Distance to track

Cons:

I got stuck in the bathroom and had to call the fire department to get me out. I had to sit in the dark because the lights were so noisy I couldn’t hear what they were telling me to do.
The shower was good but the plug wouldn’t stay open so stood in water. Yuck

Expensive night in a worn out hotel
Pros:

Spent 199 on a worn out , tired hotel in the middle of Iowa. 199! Slept fine. A/C worked. Dumpy hotel outside, beat up inside. Railings missing parts. Recent paint job weak, window blind didn’t work well and the breakfast was very unappealing. 199! Pretty frustrating.

Nice comfortable place to stay while traveling

The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the mode backyard for the dog
