Good breakfast
I was allowed to check in a little early and the staff was very nice when I forgot to turn my key in before 11, even tho I left my room at 8:30 a.m.
The women's restroom off the atrium was a mess: toilets that didn't work, stall doors with no latches, toilet paper and water on the floor. In general, the hotel appeared to need maintenance.
breakfast and cleanliness
I stay here often and Kelli at the front desk is the best in my book.
Dirty , roaches in the room no house keeping
Indoor pool, spacious suite, breakfast, the AC worked well
The workout facility had all three of their cardio machines broken, the facility needs updated sooner/quicker and is old and not in good condition, our toilet was clogged and didn’t work, there were many toilets out of order in the women’s restroom.
It was very nice and clean
There was a day we were told that the pool was closed for an unknown period. Our grand daughters and us waited all day to swim. I called one more time in the evening and was told the pool was never closed. So that was a big disappointment.
The location was nice. I was under 15 minutes from where I needed to be each day. The breakfast was really good and gave you a variety of choices. The indoor pool was a plus as well.
I get there was a convention in town but one of the front desk workers was absolutely rude. I had already pre-paid for my room online. I had the receipt to show and all. She basically told me it was wasn't pre-paid in their system and that's it. You can call them and see what went wrong. Then she proceeded to walk off like I was invisible. Thank God Mrs. Pat knew her job and rectified the problem even though I ended up paying $60 dollars more. It was returned, but I shouldn't have had to pay anything. They also wanted to charge for incidentals, but why? The phone in the room wasn't even working plus they don't sell snacks/drinks at the front desk. There weren't enough towels in the room for our party of 4. That's why I always pack a set of towels for each day I stay. The rooms need updated. The paint was chipping really bad in our room and the tub could use a good cleaning. You could see the brown ring from not properly cleaning it. It had a bit of a mildew odor as well. I spray my Lysol until the room smell fresh.
This is a hard question to answer. The location was convenient to family wedding. The cost was great.
Lots did not go well. Upon arrival, the front desk person could not find our reservation. When she did, she was rude and not very friendly. It appeared as if we were an inconvenience. She did not give adequate directions to locate our room nor explain where to find complimentary breakfast in the mornings. The map we were given was very blurry and hard to read. After about 20 minutes, we finally found our room. Next problem, parking. It was difficult to park near the ADA room. We had to park several feet away and my husband is handicapped.
Be very careful in this room. The floors stay extremely wet from condensation if the thermostat is not set below 70.
On the 2nd morning when I requested clean towels, there were no washcloths. We were given extra hand towels to use as wash clothes.
Noise level after 10 pm was unacceptable. 2 bus loads of young school aged people arrived on each night of our stay after 10pm. They gathered on the breezeway outside our window. They were extremely loud. This lasted until after midnight.
The staff were friendly.
The indoor pool caused excessive humidity inside. It smelled like mold in our room. The atrium was unsecure and could be entered without a key card. The facilities and amenities were extremely dated and neglected. The layout of the hotel was confusing and strange. The hotel clearly was once a nice location and had hints of grandeur but has fallen into disrepair and is very outdated. The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable.
Love staying here when I'm in town, the staff is always friendly and the rooms are nice and clean. I've dealt with Killie (Kelly) I can't remember how to spell her but she's been nice and friendly every time I visit. Thank you staff for all you do.
Good breakfast and friendly staff.
