Pros:

Very basic room, but clean and comfortable. Located in the beautiful mountainous area of Oregon

Cons:

Stairs required to access the 2nd floor. There was an issue with the tub faucet, which sprayed water out onto the floor. The operator offered to fix it or move us to another room, but since we were only staying overnight, we toughed it out.

Pros:

The actual rooms at this hotel have been refurbished since the last time (maybe six or eight years ago), that we stayed at this property. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Since our last visit, the nice swimming pool has been removed and the site has simply been filled in with dirt. There is nothing on the exterior grounds to recommend this hotel. Everything feels very utilitarian and “basic.” But the major complaint we have with this hotel is with the front desk staff, which we assume are the hotel owners. Seldom have we felt less welcomed or appreciated as guests. This was not the first time we encountered this treatment, and we will be finding another hotel to stay at on our next visit to the area.

Restaurants within walking distance. Great small compact town with some good food.

The drive there was nice.

Cons:

Walls very thin, could hear everything going on outside and noises from other rooms. Coffee maker didn’t work. Went to office at 6:30 am to see about coffee and so called grab and go breakfast that was supposed to be included. The office was closed.
There isn’t much choice for hotels, only needed one night. Won’t be returning

Pros:

The location was perfect for our travel destination. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Loved the vanity mirror. Things are a bit dated but for the cost we were happy with the opportunity to stay.

Cons:

It is not well insulated. Noise from the other rooms bathrooms was noticeable. Bathroom is outdated
