Favourite hotel. Pool is awesome for littles and the hot tub is large and great for the adults.
Staff is wonderful. Restaurant onsite has good food at reasonable price.
Rooms are a bit tired but 100% clean. Exceptionally clean.
Only drawback is the rooms are not soundproof from the hallway. From the hallway you can hear what’s going on in the room and from our room we could very clearly hear conversation from the hallway.
This was our 2nd stay and we will be back again
The pillows were terrible the worst I ever had but the breakfast at Arthur’s pub was so delicious

I thought the property was very clean and well kept.hotel room was spacious with a very comfortable king bed and the jetted tub was just what we needed. Pool area was stocked with towels and had washroom/change facilities right in the area. Fitness centre had a variety of newer nautilus equipment and looked like someone would be happy to use.
Onsite restaurant but did not have enough time to try.

I arrived later in the evening, when I attempted to check in there was no one there. Staff from the pub kept coming and going saying “I don’t know where he is, and I can’t help you check in, sorry” tried calling, no answer. After about 12-15 minutes the front desk person, James, appeared. No rush, no apologies or explanation. “ID and credit card” he demanded in an annoyed tone. I obliged, just wanted to check in and go to sleep.
After signing and initialing I was told there would be a hold on my card for incidentals. I asked for a receipt as it is my company’s policy to collect a receipt for any charge on the card, temporary or not. James looked at me and said “why? It is a temporary hold and will be put back on after you check out”I explained jeans that it was my company’s policy and then even if she does go back on, I still need a receipt anytime it is used. Now he’s missing eye contact with me and he looks super annoyed and again he questions it “ but that makes no sense. It’s literally a temporary hold and we put it back on when you check out as long as the room is fine” I told James that I was not trying to be a pain in his behind that this is to avoid having a pain in my mind and that even though he doesn’t see the point it, it is still something that I need. He pushed the button and Presto I had the receipt.
The toilet in my room ran all night long. I tried to jiggle the handle, but I’m no plumber. Two of the pillowcases had stains on them. Need more than 1500 words.
The property was clean and well maintained and the rooms were very clean. The Arthur’s Pub was excellent for dinner after a long day of driving.
Because of few other hotel options in the area, the price was very high for a small town, but room was clean and comfortable.
Such friendly staff and a 10/10 bar/restaurant. A little uncomfortable but not bad at all and would recommend this place for sure.

Had a lovely late summer stay. Was impressed with the design and conditions of the hotel with its very comfortable rooms. Lots of lux and thoughtful touches. A wonderful pool and exercise room! Highly recommend.
