Hot tub been broken for 6+ months now.
Pros:

A bit outdated.

Cons:

Pieces of the ceiling and walls were hanging off or missing.
When I travel to Michigan, I have been using this hotel for about eight years and it used to be really nice.
Next time I head to Michigan I’m going to be trying the Holiday Inn express across the street. That’s how disappointed I was.

Pros:

Location is good for me

Cons:

Severely outdated, has an abandoned restaurant attached to it, bathrooms are old & dirty with bad water pressure, front door hasn’t worked for months . Terrible value, this is a $70 place charging $130, owner is raking it in and doing nothing else. Must be nice.

Pros:

Location of hotel is great with many restaurants around

Cons:

The hot tub was shut down for a remodel but when I called asking about the pool nothing was ever mentioned about it. The guy at the front desk charged my card 2x even though I booked it through booking.com. Also there is way too much weed smoking going on, entire hotel smells like a joint!

It was good
Pros:

Breakfast was good, not enough seating during the rush time. The bed was too soft.

Cons:

Our stay was good, floor at pool is hard on the feet and rail in hot tub was loose. Bed too soft.

Not worth the cost
Pros:

Room was nice, bed appeared clean, lobby was nice.

Cons:

Lighting in bathroom was dark over the jet tub. The shower didn’t have a place big enough to put my own shampoo and conditioner in it to use. There was no bar for the washcloth, there wasn’t a whole lot of room to move around inside the shower. Turned the AC on auto at 68 degrees. I was up all night bc it was roughly 80 degrees I. The room. The AC didn’t work, it came on once an hour for 2 min. I advised the hotel front desk, they said they would put in a notice to maintenance to come after I left the next day. They said they were full and unable to move me to a new room. Didn’t off a reduced rate for the horrible sleep the entire weekend I was there. The second night, over a 9 hour period the AC came on 5 times for 2-3 minutes each. The room upstairs, came on three times an hour, and was on three times longer. Yes, I was awake all night to keep track.

the staff member running breakfast was extremely rude. there was no elevator which is quite the safety concern.

Clean, acceptable. Not worth as much as we paid.
Pros:

Rooms were clean, and shower was hot.

Cons:

Check in took 15 minutes. Staff didn't seem competent in check in process. Hotel hasn't been updated since it was built in the 80s.
