Best Western Vista Manor Lodge

Next to a busy highway but close to beautiful beach, cute town. Hotel is a bit dated but was clean

Our room was nice had a beautiful view of the old train trussel and Ocean,great breakfast indoor pool and conveinant to all beaches ,took a drive down hwy 1 to Arena point lighthouse had a wonderful dinner at the Wharf in a fishing village on the Noyo river ocean outlet was a awesome trip

The location was great. The in room coffee was bad as well as the continental breakfast.

Staff friendly and attentive, but the place is in dire need of a remodel. Rust, dust, chips and rips obvious on the furniture and appliances but no mold. No pests other than our neighbors “gardening” late into the night despite the hotel’s no smoking policy.

Clean, quiet and close to Glass Beach. Front desk associate wasn't too friendly to ask questions with when we arrived. Office and Registration Building should at least have the sign that it's for Best Western Vista Manor.

Very convenient location, easy parking, very old outdated building, room had noticeable unprofessional fixes curtains half thorn, wall semi patched, very low end property that looked very motel type, not the standard. Front desk lady was very unfriendly: name? Credit card? What? Only reason we stayed was the convenience. The gentleman at breakfast was very kind and friendly.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were all great. The partial view was VERY partial and the area wasn’t very walkable. Though the beach was close, it was off a fairly busy highway with no sidewalks.

The beach view was about the only positive about the stay. The AC was not working in the room. The carpet smelled like mildew, it was stained everywhere. The bathroom ceiling fan was dirty and clogged. The sheets were polyester, therefore making the bed warm.

Looked very welcoming upon arrival. Nice private balconies overlooking the sea (the road is in the picture too and some noise from that, but still nice overall).

The room was very outdated. The fixtures were worn out things weren't particularly clean. But the worst of it was the noise level. The room was adjacent to Highway 1 and semi trucks went by all night and it was impossible to sleep. Do not stay here if you want to sleep for the night. I will say that the breakfast was good and luckily they refunded my second night.

Great hotel with very helpful staff. Breakfast is good and everything is clean and organized. I look forward to staying there again soon.

Super comfortable and cozy place of Highway one. The best hot water pressure in the shower I have ever experienced!

All of the employees were wonderful. The building is old so updating is needed and looks like some updates have been done like the shower. The telephone didn’t work and the door handle was awkward. The location and staff were exceptional.

Loud road noise makes it impossible to enjoy your room. You can't open the (old screachy) windows for the road noise is even so louder, so you have to choose between fresh air or feeling like you're on the pavement. The room was cleaned below standard, there was some debris left on the carpet, the toilet seat didn't have a paper tape. Shower stall was updated but everything else in bathroom and the room was dated from decades past. Parking lot had remnants of construction material and waste residue. The indoor pool was covered and door to the pool room locked, so don't count on using the pool. We were locked in our bathroom twice as the knob spun without opening, one of us had to open it from the outside handle. Front desk didn't make any effort to compensate us for our trouble. Overall not worth the price.
