SureStay by Best Western Miles City

The carpet in room 101 was soaking wet. From the door to the TV. The room had a musky order and I’m assuming it’s from the carpet. Otherwise, the room was comfortable. The bed was also very hard.

Staff was good. Lots of outlets didn’t work. 2 tv remote was confusing. Hair in a few spots in bathroom n sink area. Other clientele made us nervous. It is a motel not a best western hotel that you would think of as being up to the brand’s standards.

Very clean room. I would say needs a bit of an update in the next few years, but overall it was a great stay. Very quaint and quite. The staff was very cordial and helpful. Always had a smile.

We have been coming to this hotel for 5 years every year on the same week and everytime its been pleasant and clean

The Desk Clerk went above and beyond for me.

There were gnats and flies in our room. The room was non smoking but there were a couple employees outside the buikding smoking. Whenever my kids open the door to go see their teamate

The room had a smell to it! The exterior of hotel smelled like week.

In fairness, we never got into the room. We arrived late evening to an empty lobby which had a massive bin of what looked to be dirty laundry sheets in the breakfast area and no employees in the lobby, which looked really nothing like the photos. There were lots of dudes hanging out in their rooms with the doors wide open to the outside, which made us feel very watched. I’ve never just walked on a reservation before, but it was just me and my daughter and it was sufficiently leery that we felt unsafe. So we left.

Reading later reviews, we saw that many folks reported the pool and hot tub that are advertised have not been usable for months, and that similarly unclean conditions have been reported frequently. We found another much safer and cleaner feeling place in town for just a few dollars more.

This hotel is possibly one of the friendliest ones I've stayed at. All the staff went out of their way to welcome everyone and they were super helpful with giving a good lay of the town and what goes on. The rooms were dated but very clean and the continental breakfast was a stand warm breakfast with waffles, biscuits and gravy and eggs. I will definitely stay again.

Easy to check in

Check in was quick & efficient.

We chose this facility for the pool and weight room. The pool was empty and being repaired. The weightroom that was advertised in the photos was for staff and the equipment was not functional.
That said the rooms were clean and the showers warm so we were able to rest and press on the next morning.

Overall this was a good option for the price point. When we arrived the pool and hot tub were out of order, but after we had dinner we did not want to get into our swimsuits anyways. We were able to walk a few short blocks to dinner. There were several options. Breakfast was provided, it was fairly standard choices, biscuits and gravy, pastries, cereal, etc. Staff was friendly. Decent place for us to spend the night as we were passing through.

They advertise having a pool and being pet friendly but the pool is empty and theu do not have an outdoor area to take your pet to relieve itself. The rooms are blocked open prior to you ariving letting insects in and the ac is turned off. The beds looked like they were made by my 12 yr old. And there was trash on the floor under the AC unit as well as someones dirty headband between a bed and the nightstand. The staff didnt even recognize me when I went to checkout approximately 15 minutes after checking in until they looked at my room key. The pictures online appear to be either from when it first opened or edited to be brighter than the lobby and rooms actually are.

This place is not as advertised. Old hotel and very dirty. Pool under maintenance and exercise room did not have any working equipment and had not been picked up or cleaned.

Very dated. Broken features. TV complicated, staff wanted tip to fix and explain. Mediocre breakfast. Iffy neighborhood.
