Pros:

Better than expected; clean and good for soccer tournament
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel with my son‘s soccer team. The hotel was clean and I would consider it to be a two star levelproperty but very clean for the level it was in. I was nervous because I had seen several bad reviews, but we did not experience same issues that others had mentioned in bad reviews. The overall property is definitely dated and not the highest quality, but the rooms that I saw had been renovated and were clean and comfortable. The staff also was very friendly and helpful, although this is a minimum staff hotel so there is not much service.

If u are considering this hotel I say go for it it’s comfy friendly and a great location
Pros:

I maid was amazing she showed us the jacuzzi suite and since they were not busy they upgraded our room to a king suite for no additional cost! My kids will never forget our experience cause all the staff was awesome and the jacuzzi in the room and being poolside was more than we thought possible. We will definitely be going back!!!!

Cons:

I didn’t like how the door wouldn’t open all the way in the bathroom and how it hit the toilet that’s my only complaint

This hotel desperately needs an upgrade.
Pros:

The breakfast was good

Cons:

Water temp in shower, only luke warm. Television was terrible-nothing for stations. The pool was not very clean. No hot tub.

I need a full refund. The front desk staff was very nice but unable to process the refund

It smelled like urine and wet dog. I called the front desk and was told I was in a room where animals were allowed.

Good hotel
Pros:

Great hotel. Clean rooms we had an issue with being on an upper floor but they were supper nice and switched us to the bottom floor!! Friendly helpful staff!

The air conditioner in room 156 was a total waste. The bathroom and area in front of the air conditioner got very cold, but I had to sleep with just a sheet. No matter how cold I set the temperature!!!

This place was disgusting, I wouldn’t even call it a motel. The staff was okay enough no spectacular service or anything but that wasn’t a big deal or really expected. I go into the room and right away it smells disgusting. It was supposed to be a no smoking room, but it reeked. I go to see the bed, and the pillow cases and well as the pillow and sheets have yellow stains and feel wet and smell like mildew. That’s only the start as the rug also had many stains and we haven’t even discussed the restroom yet. The restroom you can see black mold everywhere it was genuinely so disgusting as the tub is the shower would be budging out on the floor as it seemed like water was pooling up under the plastic or whatever it is. Oh and let’s not forget the dead roaches that I found as well. Genuinely such a horrible stay and would not recommend anyone to stay here as I felt so uncomfortable throughout the night and could not sleep peacefully. Worst stay ever ESPECIALLY considering the price is somewhat a premium for what was offered, absolutely regret booking this place. DO NOT BOOK HERE

Musty smell. Clean hotel room
Pros:

Room was clean. Manager that checked us in was very friendly. The hotel smelled musty upon entering the building and in all the halls and common areas. I did not realize that the pool area was open to the common areas resulting in the musty smell. Was looking for a room that had 3 beds for 3 adults. Attending Iowa state football game and needed a reasonably priced room. I do not think that I would choose this hotel again
