Screaming kids in restaurants, pool, and hot tub. A two yo in the hot tub?? It's time someone in their families told them to shut up. I had to plug my ears! My sympathies to the staff!!

All in all, very nice
Cons:

Food at breakfast could be better. Macjine that made pancakes made very small ones. The mixed fruit all tasted the same. Couldn’t tell what u were eating by taste.

Our room was large, clean, and with a very nice balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pros:

Easy walk from Clipper ferry (from Seattle) and to Fisherman’s Wharf and heart of the city. No car needed.

Not quite enjoyable because the room was hot and stuffy
Pros:

Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The location is beautiful - quite and away from noise.

Cons:

The room was hot and stuffy. No a/c, plus the vent in the bathroom needs cleaning.

Pros:

Room was very clean which is a priority for me and I liked the lighting (I liked that lamps were mostly used instead of overhead lighting and that yellow light was used over white)

Cons:

The bathroom sink was hard to turn off and also usually ran hot or cold.

Pros:

Overall location is good in proximity to other hotels and being central to the Victoria tourist area with easy parking.

Initial pricing was good, however a surprise upcharge at checkin of $20 per night for a 16 y/o child set it off on the wrong foot - which is a first for me when booking any hotel.

Rooms were good size with small kitchen. Toaster came in handy as breakfast area was not well equipped. Trays were provided to take food up to room which worked put well. Food options ran out early and were not available after, so plan to take food up early in the breakfast window.

Bathroom had a bit of a mildew smell but water pressure was great. No noise from outside the room. Rooms had balcony which was nice.

Overall an ok stay, but if you have older children, be prepared to pay more than initial booked price.
