The room rate was high for a hotel in that area of the state. I called the Hotels.com telephone number and the rate was $154/Day. When I checked the website the rate was $116/Day. They said the rate was high because it was the weekend and they had only a few rooms left. I booked the hotel online. They offered a guaranteed rate fee for $4.50 but charged me $9.00 for that service on my credit card. When I got to the hotel at about 7:30 PM, it was like a ghost town, not even half full. The room appeared to be clean, but there was a musty smell in the bathroom. After taking a shower I raised the tub mat and realized were the musty smell was coming from in the bathroom. The mat was black and covered with mold and mildew. It was gross. I also had a problem needing more bath towels the room only had 2. The front desk clerk said that was normal for 2 guest and I would have to wait until the next day after 9:00 AM to get additional towels. I did not get the towels until about 10:00 AM the next day when I was about to check out. Also the room should have bottled water, I had to pay $1.50/bottle for water. Needless to say I didn’t enjoy my stay at your hotel.

The motel was convenient to the interstate but you didn't hear the road noise inside the room. The air conditioning unit, however, was very loud. This is definitely an older facility in a fairly run-down area, but did not feel unsafe. The sheets and towels were very thin; the room was dated but clean, and had good internet, good tv, and enough outlets to charge our devices.

Everything was grest. Check in clerk was very nice and personable.

My room was downgraded but the payment was the same... I extended my stay for another night because I was working in the area. My room was downgraded again the second time to an even less room after I paid but the price was the same. When I mentioned the downgraded rooms the staff said they could charge up to a $250 and could not change the room. I only stayed because of the location. I love Best Western Rewards and Best Western but this hotel should not be allowed to share the Best Western name.

Convenience

Did not even stay the place was so dirty and disgusting that I didn’t even check in. The manager refuses to refund my money so I will be forced to do a charge back on my card. That way I get my money back and he can’t double dip on the room and rent it to someone else.

A basic no frills place to stay if you are in the area.
AC unit seemed to give me a slight sinus infection after two or three nights. Friendly and helpful staff though. Easy access to highway and surrounding roads. WIFI in Rm 23 was WEAK.

Breakfast was not very good. The gravy for the biscuits was so watery, the french toast you could not cut, we ended up going out the two mornings we were there. The motel is in an out of the way place. The people were nice enough, but would not stay there again.
