Best Western River Terrace

Had a wedding to attend. Gathered together with a large group of friends. Clean establishment, and lots of food around and Walmart is across the street. Good weekend get away. The views of the river with the walk is a nice touch.

This is an old hotel , our room did not have a window , but.a Glass sliding door opening to a hallway overlooking the pool. Very poorly designed. When one books a room with an established hotel chain , one expects a certain standard …..reflected in the price ….We will never stay at a Best Western again , , the last one we stayed at on this trip was in Sudbury Ontario , old and musty , refrigerator did not work . , and once again overpriced.

The staff was great. Remarkably Quiet for being so close to the road.. Comfy bed. It's a decent place to stay. It's not new and you can hear creaking from people walking around above you. This was only minor. Loved the proximity to anywhere/everywhere! It is 'Right on the River'.

The view was nice, right on th river.

I had to call to add a night onto our stay and when we went to check in, they did not have my additional night, so they made me pay more for the extra night. I paid 130 for Saturday and for Friday, the hotel charged me more than when I called when adding a night. I was charged 180. Not happy about that. But Orbitz has always been my go to.

Stayed here while visiting family

Beautiful place. Very clean and beautiful room. Beautiful view of St Mary's River. Such nice staff at the hotel. Just don't call the generic phone number to reserve. That random national Best Western phone operator told me, a single woman on the road, $230.00 a night and they only had one room left. I then actually booked through Expedia for $180.00 a night and the hotel was NOT full. She had lied to me.

It’s a motel, not hotel! Flimsy doors, moldy shower, questionable cleanliness.

They were able to switch us to a ground floor. My mother had a stroke shortly before our stay and we were on the second floor.

Did not have a window to the outside. Just a sliding glass door to a hallway that people walked by. So keep it closed so we were not getting natural light. Think room rate should be cheaper because of the lack of sunlight. Not cool.

Overall an okay stay. They had a very nice breakfast layout with DIY waffles, eggs, sausage gravy with biscuits, and some hot and cold cereal options along with juice, coffee, and tea. The hotel was a little oddly laid out, so hard to figure out at first. But pretty clean, and the pool and hot tub was nice even if the room was unbelievably hot. Our room was clean, although the beds were not very comfortable. In our opinion it was a bit too expensive for the stay quality.

The staff were amazing! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Only complaint was the pool was too warm (felt more like a warm bath than a refreshing pool) the hot tub and pool almost felt the same

Was in Cheboygan to do some scuba diving and needed a clean, comfortable place to stay. The Cheboygan BW is a clean and well-maintained place. The staff always greeted you with a cheery 'hello'. The rooms are spacious with private entrance and a patio/balcony facing the river. The breakfast is adequate for similar places with a waffle maker, instant oatmeal, assorted breads, and rotating hot dishes like eggs and sausage or biscuits and gravy. The pool and hot tub looked great, but I did not have the time to enjoy them. The fitness center was a bit small, but had everything you need. Overall a great place to stay.

Easy. Accommodating.

The terrace area and continental breakfast was a beautiful way to start the morning with a smile. Overlooking the water was relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and the closeness of the town and shops to visit. The hot tub was also a plus!
