Non ho niente da criticare
Breakfast was industrial, kind of fast food. Even the omelets, that were one of the natural foods, were not cooked in the hotel kitchen- staff told me they just warmed them.
I had to pay 35$ extra for my dog while I though is included in the room price. The receptionist told me that they have a deal on the day I arrived, but I couldn't cancel the reservation on Booking.com , so I actually paid 160$ for the room instead of 135$, which other guests who did not have a pre-reservation paid. The carpet in the room was worn out. The faucet in the shower was hard to open. The soap container in the bathroom was empty. Not much light in the room. The freezer did not freeze well a water bottle I left there for the night.

This hotel has no charm and is in need of renovation. Hideous pool area, very noisy right next to main through street, no utensils whatsoever in the kitchen of the studio apartment, so the whole space is completely useless. AC did not work, which seemed to be a common problem.
Convenient location to break a long drive, with comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast.
Bulb on nightstand on door side didn’t work.
Excellent location, quiet and clean. Walking barefoot on the carpet didn’t leave dirt on our feet.

The Best Western Apricot Inn is the best place to stay in Mendota. This is the closest hotel to the Mendota Wildlife Area, known for its duck hunting. Mendota is a small town, that most people seem to be driving through to grab gas or a quick bite to eat before jumping back on the 5 freeway. If you find yourself tired and wanting to spend the night, this is the place I would pick. It was quite and had all the necessities to be able to take a rest and prepare for the following day. The rooms were very clean. The bathroom was stocked and the entire motel was well taken care of. The continental breakfast in the morning was fresh. and the customer service here was by far the best. The front desk was welcoming and even the lady cleaning the continental breakfast area made us feel at home and told us to take our time to enjoy breakfast.
If I could change a few minor things, the king size bed only had (2) small queen pillows. Just such small pillows for the bed-just a weird thing. Also the water pressure could have been better, but the temperature was perfect! Lastly, there is not Jacuzzi. But I don't know if I would brave the cold (it was in the 30s thanksgiving weekend) to hit the jacuzzi during this time of year.
