It was ok. Eggs and sausage patties were cold on Sunday morning.
Was hoping to have a hot breakfast and we were unable to get that with the eggs and sausage.
Staff was warn and welcoming upon arriving. Was very keen to instruct me about the parking policy and smoking policy.
Gave me the wifi code, and directed me to my room.
Im glad my ac worked well cause it was extremely hot and humid during our trip.
The room also had plenty of outlwts for a tech person like me.
Breakfast was served every morning with the usual fare but theres plenty of options if you wanna go out and get something close by.
I had to have my keys remade several times, it was quite annoying.
I had a jacuzzi suite which was nice but the shower was very tiny, almost unusable. And the tub was hard to get in and out of.
Being on 5h3 third floor was so hot, I know heat rises but it was unbearable at times.

Our room was dirty, feet stuck to carpet, food left in fridge from whoever stayed before us. Something dumped all over in fridge, bedding was all stained
Convently located next to Adventureland Park and Places to places to eat. The view of Adventureland day or night from room window was great. Guests could walk across street or get a parking spot close to main entrance of park. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to whatever we might need. Room was clean. Perfect size for family of five, Beds were comfortable. And plenty of hot water for showers. Would stay again if going to Adventureland.

The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. The espresso machine was a nice surprise.
The pillows and bed could have been more comfortable. The room felt damp and the carpeting was very worn.
It was close to the venue we came to visit.
The hideaway bed had French fries paper wrappers and dirty napkins in it. I had to ask several times before it was cleaned up. It wasn’t until I responded to the text with the complaint and a picture was it taken care of. The hall ways were not kept clean. It was very noisy with people running up and down the halls with loud yelling every night. One night the police were called. I called with a question about my bill and the man I was talking to hung up before all my questions were answered.
It was a good location. Nice staff and comfy king bed.
The hallways and stairs were dirty. Same food (fruit loops and Cheeto) was on the stairs all 3 days we were there. Pull out twin bed was so uncomfortable could feel every spring. Breakfast the eggs were still frozen and sausage tasted old and gross. Yogurt not working coffee was gross and cold. Not a big breakfast area with how many people are staying there not much of a selection. They only allow 2 towels then you have to come exchange them to get me new ones no matter how many are in your room.
Location and staff were exceptional. They were very helpful with the problems we encountered.

It was within walking distance to the theme park we went to.
It was old, outdated, broken ice machine, no room towels, don’t empty trash or retrieve towels from the room, holes in the wall, worn out doors, noisy, no pool towels, couldn’t control the air conditioner.
We booked here as I am a BW rewards member and needed reasonably priced lodging for a guys trip to a hunting expo.
We had a good stay at this Best Western. This is a unique place as it is directly across the road from a major amusement park. When we arrived, it was super busy and the nice lady at the front desk got everyone checked in very efficiently.
The room was very nice and had some really modern upgrades. We liked the lighted mirror and the beds had motion floor lights so when you got up at 2am to pee...you did not stumble around. The beds were clean and had good support with 4 pillows!
Our room had everything you need, including a microwave!
Bathroom was clean and plenty of hot water with good pressure. Soap and shampoo were provided.
No complaints about the BW Altoona
We did have a couple hiccups but the staff had us fixed up in a timely matter.
Property is very close to major shopping and dining. Also easy to get around and right off I-80. Note...they have strict parking rules due to people parking at the hotel to skip the Adventureland parking fees...they will give you a free parking pass.
I would for sure stay here again!
It was close to Adventureland, the breakfast was good, it was in a great location.
The only thing we didn’t like was the outside street light was very bright and the shades were not quite long enough in the sides so the light was shining in the room through out the night.
