Best Western Flora Inn

I will NEVER stay at that hotel again, and I will definitely NOT eat anything there! My room was infested with bugs, and the only thing the staff could tell me is that it was harvest season, and on that end of the hotel, the bugs would get into the rooms. I'm not talking about small bugs, these were very large bugs, and I killed 7 of them between 1:15am and 1:45am in the morning. I wanted to leave the hotel, but since it was so late, they offered to moved me to a different room on a different floor. I still was unable to sleep, because I kept replaying the bugs in my head that I had already seen and killed. When the staff came to my room to change me to another room, there was another bug crawling on the wall at that time. I am truly traumatized about staying in hotels after my experience at the Best Western in Flora, Illinois.

The staff was helpful. The hotel was clean and in good condition. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

The shower didnt work in our room and getting in tub was not an option with a disability.

I don’t believe this place has been upgraded since they first opened. The bathroom door looked like something attacked the bottom of it, the sheet on the bed was ripped and I kept getting my foot caught in it, and there was a smell in the room and a damprid bag hanging. Cobwebs in bathroom and areas that really needed attention in the bathroom. No one at the front desk often.

This is the best hotel in the surrounding area. I back tracked just to stay here another night because it was by far the best choice from Flora to Vincennes. The cost is reasonable and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was superb as well. The staff was awesome and I met and spoke to three different staff members so I'm not saying this just about one person. They really made me feel like a valued guest. Everything in my room worked properly and it was very clean. I could not hear other guests so my stay was restful and peaceful. Thank you BW Flora!

The breakfast bar was horrible at best, no selection, no quality, and no creamer for coffee. We normally stay where there is free breakfast, we normally have to leave early and it is very convenient!

Great little place to stay. It is an older hotel but the staff were excellent and the room was clean. Breakfast was great and the staff kept it refreshed.
