Convenient location
Pros:

Convenient location for a one night stay during our Virginia trip. The room was big and clean. There is a IHOP right next to it, great for dinner.

Okay but was disappointed in the pool and hot tub
Pros:

Nice and quiet, friendly staff, adequate hot free breakfast. Enjoyed having Rhett's, Il Castellos, and El Mariachi to choose from for dinner. Also has many fast food restaurants if you prefer a quick meal.

Cons:

The swimming pool had a coating of brown on the bottom? Even if harmless, we chose to stay out of it. The hot tub was worse--had algae growth on the bottom (the the water was brown-greenish and we saw a coating).

Nice stay
Pros:

Nice place, very friendly, clean and we enjoyed the breakfast, enough of a variety for everyone. We used the pool and spa and were by ourselves every time we went, we enjoyed it. Easy to park and there were 2 restaurants and a Starbucks within walking distance plus more restaurants, coffee shop, and Walmart across the highway.

Before making the reservation, I called to see if Netflix was either available by default or could be accommodated by me bringing an HDMI Roku. I was advised to bring mine, as that was the only way to access the shows. No problem, right? WRONG...

In the whole hotel, there was only 1 remote (locked away in a workshop/maintenance room). The worker was very nice and apologetic, but neither we nor he should have had to struggle for almost an hour to diagnose that the room's remote was the wrong (cheap basic and incapable) one or wait while the one correct remote was finally located.

It put a damper on my visit & view of the management.

We will choose another facility next time we have to stay in Charlottesville.

Great hospitality
Pros:

Clean facilities. Great location. Staff was amazing. I was even tickled that they had toothbrushes and toothpaste if requested. Breakfast was pretty good for complimentary.

Cons:

I have no complaints except the price. I feel it could have been cheaper to be a best western, and the parking lot was empty! $246 for one night was a lot for a small town.
