Highly recommend this property for any stay in Raton. We will be back.
Pros:

Very clean, lots of areas to relax, felt secure and beds were super comfy.

Cons:

Great location. Close to lots of restaurants and easy to get onto the interstate.

Cons:

All guests with pets were relegated to the annex building. Too distant for us to use any of the amenities. Could have had this level of stay for $40 less elsewhere.

A good value for a clean well run hotel.
Pros:

This is a very clean and attractive hotel. The indoor pool is clean and a great temperature. Friendly and helpful staff in the hotel restaurantar. Good dining and a very good morning breakfast.

Wonderful Hotel!!
Pros:

As a healthcare traveler in an unfamiliar city, I came to this hotel because it was recommended by a nearby police officer. I desperately needed a safe and warm place for myself and my two small dogs after I had to unexpectedly vacate an unsafe place. I showed up at the front desk with tears in my eyes and these two angels at the front desk, Bernadine and Tiffani, immediately ensured that I safe and they were there to help. Their customer service was simply amazing!! They went above and beyond!! As a former Director of Operations in Texas, customer service is near and dear to my heart. The empathy and compassion shown to me by these two women will never be forgotten. Every staff member I encountered always presented with a wonderful attitude, pleasant conversation, and willingness to assist when needed. Lastly, the room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and was very tasty. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Raton, NM. Fun fact: At 19, I worked for Best Western in my hometown, Norfolk VA.

Shower curtain was poor and allowed water to flow onto floor creating a significant risk of fall in a room set up for guests with disbilties. Alarm clock went off in the middle of the night when we did NOT set it. Breakfast buffet was fine but no yogurt.
