Best Western Plus Okotoks Inn & Suites

We stay at this BW quite regularly, but it has gone down hill so much we wont be back. Currently Jan/2026 we have been here for 3 days, the front sliding door has been broken the entire time so guests have to force it open to enter. There has not been any snow removal out side since we arrived. The kitchen is shut down so the breakfast which this location is usually pretty cheap on anyways is even cheaper. In a room for 2 people we have 1 bath towel, no clock, no pen and paper. There is also a very loud motor sound from the hallway ceiling just outside our room. While trying to discuss this downward trend with a hotel staff member she just smirked. This was the same staff woman that was running and playing some kind of game with kids as they screamed through the hall. It should be called "Harry's Motor Lodge" as it does not deserve the name Best Western.

This hotel is clean and was decorated so beautiful for Christmas an.amazing effort to create a warm inviting Christmas feel.
The staff was wonderful so friendly and accommodating..

They have coffee tea available and ready for you .
They are breakfast option and serve you with a smile.
Very comfortable setting in this hotel.
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.
I will be booking again for sure and I highly recommend this hotel to others you will not be disappointed.

This was a wonderful stopover on our way to the U. S. for a short getaway. We didn’t want to be driving for 10-12 hours straight through, so broke up the drive from Edmonton to Idaho by staying in Okotoks overnight.

Clean room with early check-in , morning breakfast very good.

Hot tub closed ... house keeping didn't get to our room unfortunately

The mattress needs to be replaced as it's not a soft cloud that I'm used to

Just I didn't like the way to check in.
Looking at the small screen on a device to read all the instructions and charges and tapping continue 2,3 times...

Nice people to deal with. Check in and our breakfast lady was exceptional.

Overall a great location and the suites are nice and well maintained.

On the downside, check in is at 4:00 and only one person was at the desk when we checked in around 4:30. When we left the hotel around 5:30 other guests were waiting to be checked in. It’s not inexpensive to stay here so first impression was not good. The gentleman that checked me in was very professional and apologized for the long wait time. I had previously checked in on line.

My wife waited at the car while I was checking in and when I returned she said she was concerned something was wrong.

As well, I was assured the room we were assigned had a walk in shower. It was a tub shower.

The area where the microwave, fridge, coffee maker is located does not have any lighting. Why?


These are minor inconveniences but when you pay a premium, you expect as advertised.

Parking was fairly full as we arrived quite late. To be expected so no problem with that.

The fan was on all night
I also called front desk 2 times to get a extra blanket and no answer . Then when i hung up the phone kept rining and no one on the other end . I checked out a day early .

The bed had stains on the bedding when we arrived. It was evident under the pillows that this was not changed.

Breakfast was decent. They give you voucher on check in

The rooms and facility was over priced for a best western plus. I could not see anything "plus " about this hotel. I had better experience with other best western plus locations.

I would not go here again if not last resort.
