The hotel was clean, comfortable and well-situated. Very comfortable bed and great shower. All the staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Clara’s gluten free cake on our last day was very much enjoyed and appreciated. We will certainly recommend this hotel.

Er is wat achterstallig onderhoud. De badkamer deur sloot niet en de douchecabine zat echt vol met schimmel. Dat kan echt niet
Excellent emplacement dans la vieille ville. Chambre incroyable sous les toits. Bien équipée et très soignée.
Pas de parking à l’hôtel mais parking couvert tout proche à 10 euros. Petit déjeuner ok mais sans plus.

Si tienes problemas de movilidad, la accesibilidad a la habitación era complicada por las escaleras (sin ascensor) pero el personal fue muy amable en ayudarme a subir la maleta a mi llegada.

Alojamiento muy especial
The staff was friendly, smiling and always helpful; making up for the conditions.
The hotel customers raved about the place in their comments; the photos of it were superb (a great home staging). But I was bitterly and deeply disappointed; the room didn’t have a fridge and some of the furniture shown in the picture (curtains, table, deco). You could hear all the noises from outside through the old door and the window (neighbours, cars). The walls were thick, so the room remained gloomy, cold and damp in April and needed heating by AC. You cannot have two showers in a row; there is only enough hot water for one. The balcony is just a bigger window onto a very narrow street and be careful when going out - the cars may just pass you as they hardly fit in there. It is located in the old town and these are not-so-romantic drawbacks of this location I wasn’t aware of. The breakfast room doesn’t look like in the photos, either - and it is open, 8 - 10:00 am, having only 10 seats available, so you need to wait sometimes to be seated. No vegetables at all, fruit one or two kinds (kiwi, banana, apple), some eggs, ham and cheese, two kinds of toast. Described as “excellent” in the reviews; my opinion is different. There are two rooms (number 4 and 2, building 116) directly next to the breakfast room (be careful when booking - it may get really noisy just behind your door).
