Great room but a few down sides.
Pros:

Location, size, view.

Cons:

Room backs on to lift shaft and was very noisy, Airconditioning impossible to set and regulate temp, and when you thought you had it- it changed. No access to pool level. Poor key hand over.

Old drapey carpet that needs changing, apartment not properly cleaned with stains on walls and cobwebs on top edges of blinds, no cleaning materials and no cleaning offered for long duration of stay, poor communication by property manager with late responses or no response at all,no booklet or instructions on how to use the thermostat, old cheap Kogan tv and faulty tv remote control, needs more clothes hangers, would be nice to have a king size bed and some basic cooking items in the apartment for the duration and price paid, such as salt, pepper, cooking oil etc,

A disgraceful experience all around. A specific request was made for a quiet room and was given a room adjacent to several noisy lifts. When I reached out for support, multiple parties blamed one another as Booking.com only utilizes external parties and defaults to an Asian call center on weekends. No host was there to meet me as promised at a specific time resulting in a substantial financial contract being lost given strict meeting times which were obviously delayed. Please see the attached image of the room on the fire escape floor plan - any guesses as to which room I was provided? Furthermore, when I requested a different room, none were available resulting in me having to find another hotel for accommodation. No
refund was provided, so $1500 AUD was lost. Add an additional $1500 for an alternate accommodation option and you have a significant financial loss! For the readers, please be aware of the disgraceful support afforded by Booking.com
My respectful advice is to always book with hotels directly and you can deal with professionals directly!

We have stayed at Freshwater Place twice. BOTH times it was complicated to "check in." This is because the building is mostly residential ... and front desk does NOT support VRBO clients. The location is perfect and the building is very nice. HOWEVER, you have to watch a video and get approved to use the gym. It takes 30 mins to get approved for a 60 minute workout.

Comfortable apartment in terrific location. Professionally greeted and introduced into the apartment with ease. Our apartment was on the 25th floor with wonderful views of the river, bay and city.
