Wonderful Staycation
Pros:

We have driven past The Sea View Inn hundreds of times and finally decided to book a staycation for 1 night. I am so glad we did. The rooms while on the smaller side are wonderfully appointed and I had no idea there was a pool on the property. We will be back very soon.

Entspannte Unterkunft am Pazifik mit einigen Defiziten
Pros:

Die Lage ist gut, trotzdem es von der Straße her sehr laut ist. Aber man ist halt in wenigen Gehminuten am Strand, bzw. an der weitläufigen Promenade direkt am Pazifik. Je nachdem in welchem Zimmer man wohnt, sieht man das Meer.
Strandequipment ist ohne Gebühr vorhanden. Der Ort selbst hat viele schöne Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäfte. Empfehlenswertes Frühstückslokal - rustikal aber lecker - direkt nebenan - das Local Yolk.

Cons:

Es war nach 7 Jahren unser zweiter Aufenthalt dort. Wir hatten auch das gleiche Zimmer wie damals. Leider wurde in der langen Zeit NICHTS renoviert oder erneuert. Der Teppich (!!!) ist alt und fleckig. Ein absolutes NOGO. Das Bad ist ohnehin sehr klein, nun ist es aber auch sehr veraltet, insbesondere die Dusche müsste dringend modernisiert werden.
Bei der Buchung hatten wir darum gebeten, möglichst in der oberen Etage untergebracht zu werden. Wir hatten immerhin 7 Nächte gebucht! Bei der Ankunft wurden wir dennoch in der ersten Etage einquartiert, die fast auf einer Ebene mit der Straße liegt. Nach einigem Hin- und Her bekamen wir dann das Zimmer in der zweiten Etage (es gibt insgesamt zwei Etagen) zunächst für die ersten 5 Nächte (später plötzlich doch für die gesamte Zeit) Die Unterkunft war bei weitem nicht ausgebucht und das war kein guter Kundenservice! Eine weitere negative Erfahrung war, dass wir rechtfertigen mussten, warum wir eine weitere Decke benötigten, weil es nachts teilweise sehr kühl war. In Punkto Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit gegenüber dem Gast ist leider sehr viel Luft nach oben!
