Find a better hotel to enjoy George Town
Pros:

Opposite the Georgetown-Butterworth Ferry terminal.

Cons:

The temperature in the room is like a furnace - after 2 hours, it's still at 27 degrees Celsius. Opening the room door to the corridor is not a solution - the corridor is dim and lacks ventilation. Frontdesk staff brought a fan to help cool the room.
When booking, Ad on the room type indicated - Landmark view or Sea view. When arrived, I was informed only an upgrade will get me the Sea view. I upgraded and it was a big mistake!
Upper floors accessible by elevator - Yes, there is an elevator. But you need to drag your luggage up a flight of stairs. I am with an elderly parent and this is one danger which the hotel never mention.
